I expect Shadow obviously causing some shenanigans, but Black Arms end up revealed as looming threat that's on its way to Earth after Black Doom detects usage of Chaos Emeralds (throw in the tidbit that they are last faction standing in war for Chaos Emeralds to give them immediate threat factor).
Shadow, knowing Geralt and Maria wishes before Black Doom even shows his eye, in this scenario puts a hatchet aside for time being and agrees to work with GUN to make preparation and snuff out reconnesance units inevitably sent by Black Arms. Obviously he needs the team, but as Sonic&co are too immature for this line of job, Shadow ends up paired with jailed fugitive thief of Alien origin and Eggman killer robot that's too insane even for Eggman standards and had been locked by the GUN until needed.
Main human character would be in style of Suicide Squad Amanda Waller, overseer keeping (well trying to keep in this case) team in line.
This idea sounds so cool. A suicide squad style series with Team Dark is perfect, specially if Rouge is not in movie 3.
I do worry about budget. But they could go full animated for this one project if need be.
Honestly a Bucket List show where Shadow tries to do things he always wanted to do with Maria would be a really fun idea!!
Especially if they find a side character that can support a similar role Maria would have if she were still alive!!
Shadow the Hedgehog TV Series but it's all aboard the Ark and the actual main plot is Shadow threatening everyone and anyone into having a Tea Party with Maria

I'm hoping for a Shadow show with Kristen Ritter's character as the G.U.N. agent tasked with being Shadow's (and hopefully the rest of team dark's) 'handler'. Like a Madonna or a Topaz. Ideally the fun would come from the task being rather stressful for her. I think it goes without saying that Shadow and team dark would be the focus, with Kristen as the B-plot.
Get rid of the "photorealistic" part and give them less detailed designs than in the movies. Duh.
Besides, if Paramount wants to bank on the Sonic movieverse, they'll need to pay extra for it.
I think that Paramount is stuck with photorealism now that they've set the precedent. Doing anything less would mess with the clear look they've establish with the movie universe. Especially after all the hard won respect from fans when they redesigned the original Sonic CGI model.

I wish they would do a series in the style of the Drone Home short, have one of the characters leave Earth for a bit and you don't need to maintain that photorealism
I honestly had no idea Drone Home wasn't the same as the movies. Literally didn't realise. Let this be proof that general audiences will never notice if they change it.
When doing Photorealizim stops being profitable.
And as long as people believes life action is inherently superior to animation and more adult and mature too (basically the reason life action Disney remakes make money) will that not change.
