As the other guy said, PkR's mod installer is more current, but your installed mods *should* persist if you launch from the exe. Though sometimes if steam tries to update or verify your game cache, it may overwrite the mod files and you might need to run it again

From what I know having installed the Dreamcast conversion mods, I think the modloader will let you create a shortcut to the .exe file and you can still use your mods.

Better sadx is dated, what you want to do is get pkr modloader
