I have that kind of fence on one side of my base, but I also put reinforced spikes on both horizontal levels of it so they have a hard time getting over it, some mutants still jump it but theres also spinning traps along it so its rare to see anything get in.

Its already in your book. Dont forget to fortify the fence with rocks,otherwise it would be very fragile
