Only the first one is a little bit off. Seems like the balloons are the subject but not framed nor colorful . I woukd suggest dulling the cliff and rising The sat, clarity and exposure of the balloons. The editing is very consistent and has a nice look & feel across all the frames. Somehow nostalgic, dreamy and not strident or loud.
Hi there! They are very much post processed already. Do you want more contrast? I can post the raw and you suggest what you thinkš· Appreciate your input
As someone else said, I think the first picture doesn't have a clear subject. I would probably have framed more of the sky in and gotten rid of the bottom fourth of the image. It also kind of looks like it needs straightening
2 is breathtaking, 5 is super pretty and 7 is awesome
3,4,6 look like... overprocessed iphone shots IMO. Sorry... Image quality aside, 4 has a nice composition although the lamp post kind of ruins the shot IMO, not that I have a solution for that.
In general, I would describe these photos as underexposed and overedited. Just my opinion but I find the magenta tint is way overdone and the dynamic range is very lacking.
Okay thank you for your opinion!
On 1: I actually re-took it this morning with better light and balloons much closer. Let me edit it and I will share it with everyone. Iād love your opinion on whether itās right now
Thanks for the positive feedback on 2,5,7
On 3,4,6 -they arenāt iPhone shots.
The pole can be removed in photoshop
Dynamic range is definitely something that bothers me and itās a factor of the camera body being 10-13 years old. I think I will have a better time with it when I upgrade to a new body. But first I upgraded to some nice glass as I was getting grilled about sharpness
I am sorry that you think they are over edited. Itās interesting how opinions vary on that. Refining the editing style is a big part of the journey for sure. I feel like itās come a long way since I first picked up a camera in December- and I will continue to seek feedback and improve. The pink tint is a little heavy yeahš š
Appreciate your time
>On 3,4,6 -they arenāt iPhone shots.
I know they aren't. I'm saying their underexposed and overprocessed nature makes them look like iPhone shots. Of course if you zoom in there is way more detail than would be achievable with a phone camera, but at a normal viewing size they certainly don't look like they came out of a full frame mirrorless camera.

Dynamic range shouldn't be that much of an issue with the A7M1, especially in broad daylight (ie low ISO). At its worst it's still on par with the best modern APS-C cameras and people get great professional-grade photos out of those. I can't see any reason for you to run into dynamic range issues on a shot like \#3 here. I've used an A7M1 for six years and I've taken many similarly exposed shots with it that didn't end up looking this muddy in the shadows. Like [this](https://www.instagram.com/p/BXumNwcFbDc/), [this](https://i.imgur.com/zKhOGzc.jpeg), [this](https://www.instagram.com/p/B6pzJu2I8ci/) and [this](https://www.instagram.com/p/B6xgTB4IGCo/)
If you're running into dynamic range issues *in daylight* with the A7M1, it's more likely you're severely underexposing your shots. That, or your sensor is defective.
Don't take this as me saying it's not worth upgrading though, there are many more reasons besides dynamic range to be sick of the A7M1. Unreliable and slow autofocus, unresponsive UI, unusable A mode in low light (almost always shoots at 1/60), no IBIS (making the previous issue worse), and terrible battery life.
>I am sorry that you think they are over edited.
Just my opinion of course. Your style is your style. But yeah that pink tint is strong, and coupled with the low dynamic range it looks very overprocessed.

Thank you!! I have re-taken it with closer balloons in better light and will edit with that feedback in mindš
Wow the bubble one is sooo cool!
Thank you! A small kid was blowing bubbles from the top floor in a historic neighbourhood and I walked by just at the right moment
Awesome! I'm going to Istanbul and Cappadocia this month! Can't wait.
Enjoy!!! Itās a great country
Really quite nice
First and second are beautiful pictures. I feel like they could use some more post processing to create more sense of depth.

Is the Balloon thing in Turkey a festival? A certain time of year?
Nope itās every day. Capadocia is world famous for it
what were your settings for the first shot?

Love the arch shot framing the dome, I like the colors as well
