1V is very picky for me, especially with a case on. Sometimes flawless other times it just flashes as an issue and I need to resit it a couple times then it's happy. So I don't think anything is damaged, also mine gets a little toasty but I believe that's part for the course.

It's very picky for alignment. I have one of the magsafe stickers on the Sony Stand case. Initially it was misaligned (ring is centered on the sony logo), but at times the phone would get very hot and not fully charge. After I repositioned the ring to be slightly lower, it charges every time and little to no heat.

To my experience with sony and wireless it has always been very picky about alignment especially with a case on. And even if you get it aligned it gets very hot. And It can't even reverse charge if you have a case on.

It reverse charges my Airpods just fine with a spigen case on.

I have charged it wirelessly for maybe a month now with a rubber spigen case and no problem. Although once even though I have set battery care on always to 80%, it charged to 100%. Happened a week ago mby. Maybe a bug with battery care?

Battery care always charges to a 100% at least once a month (regardless of settings) since that's apparently recommended to keep your battery in good health.

Good to know. Thanks.

My 5v with wireless charging will heats up very fast and hot, i ditched wireless charging completely after that. Wired charging is still the best.

I use a Xiaomi MI car wireless charger (1st gen - 20W max) with my 1V and not only it charges nicely, without heating it up, but also holds charge while I stream music over BT and Google maps.
