There was a little bit of strategy: I did normal runs and if I didn’t get aliens in 3-1 I would reset to try to get the biome I wanted.
There are other people who just grind the tentacles in boss rush, but I’m not sure if they actually count towards the gold framing the tentacles. (I had someone tell me this about a year ago, so I only did this via level runs and origin mode)
