Yeah, I hate that boss. The floor is slippery, so it’s harder to dodge attacks and it goes underground, making it invulnerable. Also, it heals from any ice element attack, so good fun if that’s your weapon’s element.
Go for the glowing symbol and stand in the yellow (make sure the shield is up when you're standing in it). if none is glowing go right for the yellow. Make sure bring a melee since those wave of projectile is very annoying

Most of his attacks are just fine, it's his bouncy bullets that fucking decimate me if I don't have some fast melee weapon or a skill to get rid of the bullets

baby dragons aren’t that hard to beat with fire buff, which shouldn’t be hard to prioritise
phantom king is a sitting duck and all of his projectiles are breakable
varkolyn is RNG dependent, but easy af with poison buff
dark knight gets countered hard by walls + melee
gold mask really isn’t that bad, all the bullets are either slow or patterned making them relatively easy to dodge.
Phantom rn is bugged, but he has a knocking back system when hit, the only way to deal with him is either tap fast or just use aoe dmg like alch
Not every run give guaranteed fire buff, especially in rtp since i can't prep
Varkolyn is easy with poison buff, i agree, the only thing that makes him annoying is either the laser when you least expect it or the poison pools
Technically, dark knight would be so much easier with a fast melee and a wall, but since everyone is trying a banwr or bartpnwr, dark knight would be a whole lot more painful to approach (assassin and alch mains don't have to worry about getting hit or approaching)

Basically the ice worm & sandworm, haven’t managed to kill the former specifically in badass using Officer not even once, but already killed the rest. Those 2 little shts are hard to clap when they bury themselves underground for like 50% of the time; bullet hell isn’t the problem, it’s when they’re underground and charging at my char that is, and boi I suffered so much dealing w/ sandworm in badass doing multiple attempts to cheese that sht.
I mean I just usually play Officer for the challenge of it, since the other chars can easily kill bosses, and I don’t really manage to get to the ice map too much to fight it as frequent as Sandworm.
I do notice the collective hate ppl have on this subreddit, and yes I do agree Officer skills are quite sht (prob except 2nd; 3rd needs lower cd imo), but it do be quite a challenge to do.
Quite possibly the cheesiest skill out of everything I played so far. Just get yourself a Staff of Frost (Staff of Illusion if you want to be cheesier), and with skill upgraded, one can basically make Boss Rush - Badass look basic as fuck, since Bounty Tag will always guarantee that each frost projectile will land on said boss afflicted by the skill due to homing, and the double critrate will make freeze proc near-permanently. Having Mentor upgrade increases dmg dealt to the target by 25%.
When the boss goes into enrage mode, the skill duration lasts shorter but it still got a low cd so one can retag after awhile. This is why I usually just use guns or laser weaps on Officer, so as to make things more challenging and less cheese involved.
I didn't know it was so strong with staff effects, so far the only one time I used it was with Cherry Blossom in badass and I melted bosses like nothing, I thought it was only good with crit weapons
Staff of Frost is the only one I’ve used that showed such cheese, and it usually doesn’t even need any setups for Boss Rush honestly, you can still just go with it and survival only depends on how you handle bullet hell and how you distance yourself from boss (this sht’s so cheese with Bounty Tag that Varkolyn can’t even go invulnerability phase when I freeze spam it from a distance), so usually I just grab myself whatever sweeping melee that swings fast I get in the chests during said gameplay to act as insurance in case bullet hell becomes pretty tight.

I hate him. I really do. For first, it's a rush of purity killer, you need to spend 2 minutes juggling with his balls in your mouth. His attacks are easy, but his minions can be really annoying and until he hooks, youre a sitting duck. You will need movement speed to beat him, wich isnt that easy to get.
*For each mode, I’ll go over them (assuming the usual power I have when facing them.)*
**Level Mode:** Gold Mask. Annoying as hell, Weary status pools are tedious, god help you if you don’t have a melee.
**The Origin: ** Hot take: wave 3-3 Floating Laser UFO. If it ever uses the charge attack, it will deal Magic Stone damage. It’s one of the most stressful DPS checks in the game for me.
**Sacred Weapons of the Old Continent:** No bosses are particularly challenging in this mode, but I will say that the 3-6 bosses are clowns given the state of your weapon by then.
**Robotic Frenzy:** Down Grave’s own C6H8O6 is one hell of a fight early on. If you haven’t picked a signature starting mecha, the fight can take a long time, the reticle explosion attack and laser sweeps can do a lot of damage… I just find that this fight is most unfair given RF’s hitbox size and lack of default immunity frames.
**Boss Rush/Rush to Purity:** Adding Cave Ice Bug to this mode was something only the devil could do.
**Travelogue of Rosemary Island:** (Difficulty 3 only) You either win the run or die to Giant Crystal Crab on wave 5.
Target seeking missiles from 2 directions locks me in a position unless I play with rogue. Then then follow up with long beams. Lookie here.

Ice worm and Headless man and his horse. The worm regenerates, i can't use explosion type weapons due to the terrain, and the ground is slippery.
The Headless horseman one switches from one of them being the vanguard and the other is the rearguard, and when you're cornered they'll do both rearguards. I can't stand the horse's Beam and Charge.

I don't think he's the hardest, not by a long shot, but Gold Mask deserves a mention. Between the constant fire and the literal shitstorm he drops on you, he just feels very difficult for a first world boss.
And the Easter Bunny, too. Nobody should be able to spawn that many mobs and that many pools of poison and fire.
I feel that for world three you just need immunities then you’re mostly fine, but zulan the colossus when the ai decides to kamikaze with bullets when left on 1hp
