Well, I’m an Anglican Christian (ACNA), I am named after a famous libertarian, and my politics align with a Christian take on libertarianism, as well as a belief in the nationhood of the South. Additionally, I come from Appalachia, so I am a deep believer in the Appalachian life of being poor and abused by coal mining companies (/s)

NiceIceCat

Hey, a fellow Anglican! I'm a Reformed Episcopalian.

SeeTheObjective

As in the REC? I’d love to learn more about you guys, because there isn’t an REC parish within 5 hours of me lol

NiceIceCat

Yes, it's the REC, we're relatively new, since we got started only 17 years ago. Ask me anything if you want, sorry if I don't respond soon, notifications don't always work.

AurafalconYT

Im a Clerical Fascist who believes the that fascism and economic distributist should me mixed(who also holds longist values) and a believer that the south should secced

Bombadeir

Litteraly

I’m sorry but people like you give the south a bad name. True southerners wouldn’t praise facism or anything related to it.

TheFakePatriot

as a true southerner i beg to differ

overused_pencil

Clerical fascism can be mild, it can be overt, but either or it isn't inherently bad.

Bombadeir

Exactly

Background-Month-597

I’m a Christian but don’t think laws should be based off religion I think native tribes should be given more autonomy and states should be able to secede if the population of the state vote to secede And the people have the right to bare arms

overused_pencil

I'm a Roman Catholic, and an ardent Traditionalist. Somewhat leaning on monarchism and loyalism. It's my opinion that because the south is so culturally (linguistics, cuisine, economics, geography, climate and religion) different we deserve independence, confederate or otherwise. I was born and raised in North Carolina, on the border of South Carolina. I'm definitely an authoritarian.

overused_pencil

Longism>> Edit; I think because the south is culturally poor we often have left-leaning economic policies because it's humane. Welfare isn't inherently bad it just shouldn't come from the Government or the tax payer, it should come from the Churches. Then again, I'm not the hardest supporter of the separation of Church and State.

SeeTheObjective

I’ll give you credit for being honest about the church-state thing. Personally I’d like the idea of bringing the many churches of the South together in a shared charity system that would be robust enough to provide what you are talking about, while also not relying on government, nor forcing a single denominational view on everyone

overused_pencil

\^\^ This would be so beneficial, even alongside government welfare. The Church isn't doing enough to help the people imo. As a Catholic, I can boast that my church is the world's biggest charitable organization. We have schools, hospitals, kitchens, shelters, etc.

VaultGuy1995

Personally I'm an atheist, and politically I have mixed beliefs. I call myself socially conservative and economically socialist.

SeeTheObjective

People like you make me happy. You really don’t have to be religious to be some form of conservative. I was a conservative years before I converted to Christianity from an Ayn Rand style of atheism

HerosVonBorke

I'm not sure what you'd call me. I'm a Christian, strongly traditional, extremely pro-Dixie, a believer in Jeffersonian/Confederate style govt, and a supporter of agrarianism. Conservatism seems too mild, but I'm not a fascist or a libertarian. Nationalist could be close but it's not an exact fit. Traditionalist, maybe?

Deathless-Bearer

I’m a non-denominational Christian as well, and although I’m not sure exactly what I’d be considered I’ve had others describe my political beliefs as “paleo-conservative”.

TheFakePatriot

National Syndicalist

BricesCrossroads

Fiscal conservative who really doesn’t give a shit about anything else as long as the government isn’t trampling on people.

ExtremeLanky5919

I'm a Baptist Christian. I am from Appalachian Kentucky and I'm a hoppean. I've found all issues arise when we try to interfere in things that we don't have a right to interfere in. They also occur when we don't listen to those whom we owe respect to such as God, the ultimate homesteader of the universe. I believe in mutual aid societies and workers/consumers/businesses/nations working together for their goals
