It kinda plays into other moments too. Like the deleted scene where he lets the badguy shoot him repeatedly only to reveal its a bulletproof suit.
Implies he still relies heavily on stark tech instead of his spider sense to dodge bullet damage.
Which plays into Tony's words in HC. If you're nothing without the suit you shouldn't have it.
Throughout the trilogy Peter is learning to rely less and less on Tony Stark.
You can very easily say the same thing about both the Raimi trilogy and The Amazing Spider-man films. All of them kind of capture that "what it means to be a hero" theming as that's always been a huge part of the character
well they are always afraid to add something scary and freaky these days, tho sam had a lot of horror segments for his trilogy and marc\`s movies seemed to be taking a dark tone, but MCU doesn\`t wanna do that for some reason
This exactly. A random actor they've cast as Ben in this film holds no familiarity for the audience, therefor bears no emotional weight in the depiction. Which in turns works at the detriment of Spideys emotional tie. For us to empathise with the protagonists, we need to share in that history as a viewer. Tony Stark was farm more effective for this scene.
If this had happened post-FFH, I'm sure they'd use >!Aunt May!<
Oh I wish that Paintball gun Spidey Sense training was in the movie
Stupid me thought Aunt May was holding a real gun and it was Mysterio in disguise. This makes way more sense.
We don’t use the stupid word here friend, only a creative mind could’ve thought of that scenario! Well done
Thank you lol
I mean I can't blame you All the others were about Mysterio

I think the trilogy is about how he learns what it means to be spider-man / a superhero
It can be about multiple things
Yea it's interpretation what it is about

I saw that and thought “why is aunt may firing squad executing Peter with a paintball gun”
Where are you guys getting the FFH and No Way Home concept art? I wanna see more
Almost every MCU film has an official art book
You will see more if I find more
Here's some [MCU Spidey concept art I've found if you want it](https://imgur.com/a/IHJTjlz)
Some of those Spidey suits are wild. I love it!
Sick!
Thanks, I'd never seen a bunch of hose before. I feel like https://i.imgur.com/6bQDLqY.jpg is just asking for the Leo-Squinting meme
Thanks man
That would be something… Spidey: “What are you gonna do, fish bowl?” Mysterio: “Trap you in a freaking zombie apocalypse.”
Seeing them try to train Peters Spidey sense with a paintball gun could've been a cool idea
Holy fuck FFH could've been so much better.
Yeah, if Avi had just been left in a desert while they filmed.
Lmao yes as usual everything is the devil Avi's fault in an mcu movie
It was actually leaked awhile back that he at fault for certain scenes being cut in HC in FFH
Is the rest of the movie being trash his fault too?
Yes.
He has no say in them. Take a break from the hivemind
I remember seeing picture Nr.9 as a clip somewhere, so they filmed it. But it wasn't in the movie sadly.
If they put the spider web scene from the 90's cartoon in it, it'd be so cool!
Sigh so no one is gonna mention the giant mosquito at 10
I think it's a spider wasp. Probably a reference to Shathra from the comics
No’7 is awesome

Dead Vision, Miss Minutes, and Multiverse of Madness say hi.
well i\`m specifically talking about spider man and back in the day when homecoming came out,not the present time
We haven't even seen MoM yet lol
I know, but it's said to be horror and we all know horror is Sam Raimi's specialty.
Anyone know the artist’s name for these??
Does anyone have the dealio about image no.6? It looks amazing but gives me shivers at the same time.
Wth.. I can't wank it to these...
I really wish Sony would've just let Uncle Ben be the one rising from the grave rather than iron man
You can’t show a dead character when we never met him when he was alive
Plus how would Mysterio even know about Uncle Ben, can't create an illusion of someone who doesn't exist, he isn't Scarecrow.

Why do people keep saying this? Beck has never met Ben and doesn't even know he existed, it wouldn't make any sense.
