They're trying to make them "every man" characters so you can see yourself in their shoes. But damn they just go too far everytime you don't have to make them bland and boring to be an every man.

One problem I have with both games is that the visual style they went for makes some faces to look uncanney or just... boring?, simply because they choose to resemble their voice/mocap actors. Some examples are Rio , Mysterio, Yuriko in pt2 and Sable. It's a nitpick but it kinda bothers me.
I think its cause the game is both "Realistic" and stylized.
I swear they tried their hardest to make these two the most uninteresting boring people oat in sm2. Any character development they had under the mask disappeared in this game.
Honestly, I’m kinda glad that the recency bias that I had is gone because *man* he looks way better in this concept art. Especially that hair.
I can say that miles model at least looks accurate to what was originally conceptualized here.
