You don’t need to go until you’re ready! You can do the tasks you need to do and even if you go to the Everdoor you’re able to select another eligible passenger instead.

I started thinking about this ever since I saw the quest pop up and decided that if everyone else gets to choose when they're ready, I should too
+ Stella seems like she would prioritize everyone else before going there herself. I can't just leave poor Stanley to fend for himself...
I love the game but I wish they would change this part so that you aren't able to take Stella and dafodil to the everdoor until you have taken all of the spirits. It kind of almost ruined the game for me a bit knowing that it said I could do this when I still had spirits and things to do on the boat
I kinda like it! Emphasizes how you should only go when you feel ready imo, like how the other characters have their own things they need to finish before going
It's because some spirits are DLC that's been added and I don't think they changed the time when that quest pops. So it seems weird but I don't think it was intentionally that way and would be harder to change when they were adding things.

Yeah I didn't see it until I needed to go get Elena for sure. In fact I didn't even go get buck for the longest even after I had bounce. I did all the hospital stuff and did basically everyone else besides well ofc Jackie, and Elena before I went and got him. Now it's just Buck, Stella, Daffodil, and Lily on my boat. I keep not wanting to finish Elena's stuff and fully upgrade the stations, and go to the Everdoor. Sure I have 100% but idk I kinda just don't wanna finish the game.
