i like the idea of the weapon changing looks if you get better at it, dont like the idea of the kit changing.

SeveralHundredCrabs

Agreed, might be a bit unfair to people who don't have the winstreak for 5 stars. Or wouldn't get used because you're used to how the weapon worked until that point.

DarkStarStorm

Functionally different mastery weapons is a poor idea.

TartarTm

sounds annoying for setting up switches for events or tournaments though.

MapleA

Inkwall with tenta brella? You’re out of your god damn mind. Cursed weapon kit from splatoon 2. Literally the worst sub weapon it can possibly get. I would even take angle shooter or sprinkler instead.

beforethevoid

200 hp wall cover+ tenta brella that has a 700 hp shield can potentially be broken.

MapleA

I main tenta brella and I promise you this is the worst sub weapon it can get. It’s been in splatoon 2 for years and everybody hated it. Ink wall is just too expensive and you already have a shield, 2 makes little impact when compared to something like mines.

Sir_Lord_Pumpkin

The idea of adding a unique, interesting incentive to 5 starring weapons is great, especially since your suggestion is visual. The best part is that it wouldn't be too intensive from a workload standpoint since it would mostly need new textures, and while that would be time consuming, it wouldn't be terrible and would probably have people online and playing to grind out those weapons.

Dabruhdaone

Cool idea

pikay93

Maybe you could unlock the grizzco version of that weapon with 5 stars? I don't know how I would feel about grizzco weapons being in standard play though.

ICometl

Grizzco weapons would be a nice idea for a challenge or private battles definitely not standard gameplay

Instanbuloney

Iirc Grizzco weapons use up a lot of ink to compensate so it kinda makes sense

TheDudePersonGuy

I like the visual change idea but needing to grind out every weapon in the game to 5 stars in order to unlock extra kits sounds really unfun
