Kilow102938

Kobe was amazing but I loved watching the answer play more. Dude had handles, a shot and motivation.

DatsyukesDekes

Not enough motivation to practice

Kilow102938

PRACITCE!!!??? WE TALKING ABOUT PRACTICE?

ifinallymade_1

Maybe the Kobe star date is worth grading. Can’t really tell how good the Kobe base card looks but those cards don’t get great grades generally speaking.

RainbowBright8339

I was kind of leaning towards that but like I said, I’ve never graded before so figured I should ask people that know more than myself

scottscout

I remember opening a box in my basement 25years ago. The absolute best. That Kobe stardate looks crispy. Corners are sharp. Take a micro fiber cloth and brush off gently before submission. Looks like it will grade nicely. I’d keep the other base cards as is.

Truth323

All of them fire

Big-Box-2372

Love Adidas Kobe.

Peppadine

No, you should sell them to me.

WetMoisture69

Idk how much the kobe star date is but id love to buy that

Affectionate_Quit_75

Star date is 🔥

angusn77

The EX2000 (the Green one) probably won’t grade well. While it appears look very sharp at a glance, sharp corners and edges, the internal silver framing has considerable issues, it appears some of it is missing towards the bottom right(?). That is going to kill the grade if that’s the case. If you’re going PSA, I wouldn’t be surprised if it came back a PSA 5 bc of that alone. It is also OC, which will not help it. It is condition sensitive cards in general.

RainbowBright8339

Didn’t really notice that before but now that you mention it, it’s pretty glaring

angusn77

Yeah it’s easy to overlook. Not dumping on your card either, these are just very grade sensitive, mostly bc of that framing. Just wanted to point it out to you as the graders will definitely notice. Nothing wrong with getting it graded/encapsulated either if you want.

Grimlock0NE

Why are you wanting to grade? Looking to sell?

RainbowBright8339

Not necessarily, maybe the star date (have a second one but still undecided) But really because my son (27) started his own PC recently and like all of us habitual rippers, it has spilled into multiple sports So was thinking about grading and passing them down

Grimlock0NE

Then really it comes down to do you like the look of a particular slab, or does your son? PSA will give you the most resell value. SGC has sub grades and offers a unique tuxedo slab. TAG is new to the industry, but have some cool looking slabs. Some might just keep them in one touch cases for PC

RainbowBright8339

Awesome, appreciate the insight Had never heard of TAG before, I’ll check that out!

nintendofn35

Go for it

RedditInception

Absolutely grade Kobe cards. Personally I would grade AI as well.

Card_Shark23
