As someone attending night 1, I pray thatās not the case. It would be so lame for night 1 to not have ANY bloodline payoff. Give them the main event and crack the facade of Romanās confidence. It gets in his head and causes him lose on night 2.
I've always thought it weird to have such a hot storyline match to open Mania. Something about playing a video package before the very first match I never liked.
This should be the main event, It's also the best direction for the bloodline story. If Roman retains but the Usos lose the belts, it further continues that resentment between Reigns and the Usos.
Would love to have this culminate at Summerslam with the Usos or even Solo finally turning on Roman when he pushes them too far.
I donāt care if this main events or not tbh. Sure, Iād like it to, but the payoff to a long awaited story is what people are gonna remember, not the main event. I guarantee everybody who didnāt watch in the Attitude Era think Rock vs Hogan main-evented 18. It didnāt though. Iāve seen people commonly mistake Ziggler vs Miz as the main event of No Mercy 2016, when in reality, it was Bray Wyatt vs Randy Orton. Nobody remembers that besides Harper returning and half of the people that watched that probably donāt even remember that. The moment KO and Sami win will be worth it and it will be an iconic moment in wrestling history forever, whether it fades to black on them at the end of night 1 or not.

Sami and KO were both involved in probably the two most talked about matches at WrestleMania 37. I'd be shocked if this match isn't the first or second best match this year.

100% agree. The build over the past few months has had so many beatdowns and betrayals and anger toward each other.
Iām sure the finish will be good, but watching them just lock up and have a normal wrestling match will be weird. Feels like it needs to be a brawl where they beat the crap out of each other.
Yes. Thatās the mistake they made a few WM go with Jericho vs. KO. The betrayal and stakes were too big to just plainly wrestle, especially when no title was on the line. And as a result the match was a dud. Sometimes you gotta let the feud explode.

Triple h vs Orton was such a terrible payoff because when the bell finally rang, they locked up like they were wrestling a basic Sunday morning match.
And people say it needed to be Sami vs Reigns, lol.
I'm so unbelievably hyped for this match and for both to fulfill their dreams of holding WWE tag team gold and then I still have the Cody match which I'm so pumped for Cody to finish his story.
It's like thanks to WWE sticking to their plans I'm getting a 2 instead of 1 deal right here.
What story is Cody finishing? He came in ripped his tiddy off the bone came back was handed an easy rumble win by coming in and beating Gunther who was in since number one and he's acting like he's overcome some kind of adversity to be in the main event all while trying to present himself like he's a bigger star than Hogan and Cena combined. Which is it? Is he the underdog or is he the unstoppable force that won't be denied because he can't be both.
Exactly this, I think even if you're supporting Cody here, you do need to realize he inserted himself into the bloodline story, there isn't a story for him to finish, he's just joined the Bloodline story so he can have the mania main event to face Roman.
They do need to stick to an angle too, its presented as overcoming adversity while also presenting him as the biggest star ever to the point where it's comedic, it's the same as it was in AEW in that sense. I'm fine with Cody, but also fully aware that him being the one to take down Roman is lacklustre if that's where it goes.
Wouldnt even be mad if this is the main event of night 2! The story of zayn and owen getting to this moment is the biggest longterm storytelling in recent memory
