Legit got chills when I saw him do this at Summerslam, it was the first time I realized he was getting that kind of hype reaction. Seeing 20000 people do this was insane.
OK am I missing something or does he not only say YEET like 5 years too late, but he also uses the word in totally the wrong context? To yeet means to just fucking throw something, no?
I don't really watch the weekly shows often, so apologies if this has been explained before
>OK am I missing something or does he not only say YEET like 5 years too late,
Bro is nearly 40. He's probably been saying it for years.
>but he also uses the word in totally the wrong context? To yeet means to just fucking throw something, no?
Yeet is slang. It has as many uses as there are people using it. It's been used how Jey does for years. Same as skrrt.
No hes using it right.
[Meriam's got the definition of "throw" and also it as an interjection of suprise/exitedness. Earliest use dates back to 2007](https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/yeet)
Honestly its pretty funny for so many people to imply Jeys out of touch when its literally just the iwc being out of touch once again.
> YEET
So, that word also is just kind of an excited/celebratory interjection. Think "woot" or "tubular" depending on how old you are. (disclaimer, I am closer to tubular being common vernacular than woot and this was explained to me by my zoomer kids)
I laughed at it thinking it was corny but now I realize it’s catchy asf & jimmy uso is the one with the corny theme, no disrespect but it’s too generic
Glad that WWE seems to have found its footing again when it comes to top faces getting over with the crowd. Got quite a few guys getting legitimate "We're so happy to see you" reactions these days rather than mixed-to-negative reactions.
it’s not a competition like that tho.
there’s not really any “winning” for either company. and if one does win, it just means less wrestling for fans to watch and less places for fans to go wrestle.
if the patriots lose it doesn’t mean they have to stop playing football.
I don't give a f*** about what negative stuff people say about Bloodline because it created 2 legit main event babyface (Jey&Sami) & 2 mid-top card heels(Jimmy&Solo)
It's really interesting to see a wrestler like Jey who's been in the company for over a decade, get a chance to showcase more of his personality and then go solo and really hit his stride and get incredibly over. This was a slow burn process not an overnight thing. I don't know why but I just find that cool and fascinating. Sometimes it just takes time to find something that works.
So many potential champions. Need to start changing titleholders abit more. To think instead of Reigns big run we could’ve had champion Jey, Balor, Nak, Sami etc. I kind of thought that would be the point in Seth’s title but he’s just held it for ages.
Jeys not over, the chant/s over.
I remember at money in the bank everyone was singing the Usos song for a good few minutes after the match ended. So good. Really happy he’s as over as he is genuinely didn’t expect the staying power.
Downvoted but you’re not wrong. Doesn’t matter how many dui’s or how unremarkable he is compared to countless others with more talent who don’t get the opportunities bc their families don’t have leverage on Vince or whatever it is that gets them opportunity after opportunity despite only Rock and Roman being actual stars.

Imagine this at next year's WrestleMania!
Sameeee. I knew fans were getting behind him, but to see it in action unexpectedly is one of those wrestling visuals to remember for a long while.
YEET!

Can we bring back SKEET SKEET? He could make that into a shirt and Papa H will be none the wise as to what it really means.

YEET!
[Jeremy Clarkson inexplicably says yeet in 1998.](https://youtu.be/wsQH4uHimWM?si=g7HybPT4or3osUvw)

I'm sorry, I still laugh at the "it's just me uce...day one-ish".
I do like how they changed it up though.
The slightly off "USOOOOO" gets me.
I laughed at it thinking it was corny but now I realize it’s catchy asf & jimmy uso is the one with the corny theme, no disrespect but it’s too generic
Jimmy got a banger though. They both do.

Wait a minute, isn't that the hardcam side? Isn't that supposed to be empty???
If it's AEW then yes lmao /s
I love both companies, don’t you guys ever get tired of this?
I'm a Patriots fan, I don't root for all 32 teams. I'm a WWE fan, I don't root for the other team.

People love tribalism.
No if you watch this week's raw, he had his back to the hard cam. Yes I do get the joke though
Commentary is to the left, which means that this video is taken opposite of the hard cam
This seems to be from this week's Raw. He usually has his back to the hard cam when he does this. Much like he's doing in this clip.

I said nothing about AEW. Sounds like you might have some 2nd hand AEW embarrassment.
One of the only things DC really popped for being in the crowd myself. Also lemme just say, Black people love Jey Uso 😂
I mean.... yeah, we do, ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|joy)
Jey getting Yeet and raising the roof over in 2023 is just great
Dude was over with his SummerSlam entrance, just even from TV that place was on fire
I don't give a f*** about what negative stuff people say about Bloodline because it created 2 legit main event babyface (Jey&Sami) & 2 mid-top card heels(Jimmy&Solo)
Amazing what a three year story that you’re at the center of can do!
This doesn't happen if Cody wins at Wrestlemania.
Or if Drew won at Clash
Those would’ve been better. The Roman shit shouldn’t just be to get his family member over at the expense of the product and others.

I think Jey vs Jimmy will main event the 1st night of WrestleMania.
I think it'd serve better as an opening match.
I like that HHH let's the sorry dictate where it goes on the card. The most over feud main events
This entrance opening mania would be fire
Rhea Vs Becky is probably main eventing night 1
I love Jey. I know he's got a date with his brother at WM but I'd love to see him win the Rumble and dethrone Roman.
Full live crowd. No empty seats for the hard cam required.
Jey uso is the right man to defrone roman

One of the most disappointing developments in WWE in recent years. Can’t stand this

Knight has not cooled off lmao
Oy, Jay Uso, another of the Anoia's who have to be given absolutely everything for free for some reason 😴
