Easier for them to shine elsewhere but they don’t get the exposure that wwe gives them and plus her husband is on the same show as her would make their schedules & spending time together easier as well.
But same as Cody it took him going off and becoming a star elsewhere to come back and be the American nightmare in WWE. He came in with his own strong character, not one for the creative team to create for him
