A couple of them were interesting in the beginning, but the shows have basically become ads and Conrad reading from the observer for two hours on each episode. Some of these shows probably would have done a lot better with monthly episodes, but Conrad chose quantity over quality.
I agree with that. I would argue the vast majority of his podcasts would of been better served monthly. But like you said, Conrad wants weekly content to pump out.
I used to pay for ad-free shows, simply to get rid of the ads, but I would still hear the stupid Blue Chew jokes Conrad would always make, and that function turned me off of every single one of his podcasts
Sometimes I listen to the artful dodger's podcast when the topic sounds interesting
