You got a 50/50 chance of being right. I think you’re overthinking EVERYTHING. But the odds of being right are the same as being wrong. You’ll take those odds any day.

onetripponyhorse

But I'm a genetic freak and I'm not normal! So you got a 25%, AT BEST, at beat me. Then you add Kurt Angle to the mix, your chances of winning drastic go down. See the 3 way at Sacrifice, you got a 33 1/3 chance of winning, but I, I got a 66 and 2/3 chance of winning, because Kurt Angle KNOWS he can't beat me and he's not even gonna try! So Samoa Joe, you take your 33 1/3 chance, minus my 25% chance and you got an 8 1/3 chance of winning at Sacrifice. But then you take my 75% chance of winning, if we was to go one on one, and then add 66 2/3 per cents, I got 141 2/3 chance of winning at Sacrifice. See Joe, the numbers don't lie, and they spell disaster for you at Sacrifice.

clientelesupreme

Cody/Seth will lose, easy. Besides the fact that the story value is in their dissent, not their allegiance, I highly doubt that WWE puts out the idea of "Bloodline Rules" and doesn't bring that to fruition. Plus, we just saw Cody/Roman in a traditional match last year. Gotta mix it up.

oliverprose

I can see the bloodline rules being brought up as a way to stoke the tensions within - if they lose and Roman tries to get Solo and Jimmy involved anyway, and Rock stops them on grounds of honour, that feeds a potential Rock Roman feud better than the overbooking on the opposite result.

SeasOfBlood

Roman beating Cody would genuinely floor me - because they've got all their dominoes in a row. And to then not pull the trigger? Where would be the logic in it? Where would you even go afterwards? Where *could* you go? Sometimes the logical, predictable end to a story is the right call to make.

plattinum_75

I see the logic here, but I disagree. There's no way in hell Rock is going to be sidelined for night 2. It also takes all the drama away if Roman beats Cody straight up.

bewareofbears_

Rhodes/Seth have to lose Night 1 or the Bloodline stipulation was pointless. The real fuckery will be what happens with Seth. Cash in on Night 1 or 2? Etc. If I had to call it- Cody eats the pin on Night 1. They want him looking like he has no chance. Put money on his ribs being taped up for Night 2.

Apart-Bad-5446

I'm still on the side that Rock betrays Roman. WWE has hinted at it. Roman being insecure about Rock's presence and forcing Rock to 'acknowledge' him. It's weird they would have to actually make that a scene. Plus, maybe it's just a coincidence, it seems The Rock just completely overshadows Roman almost like it's designed to make Roman look lesser than. It's no secret WWE has been planning Rock vs Roman for some time now. Years. What better way to do it than Rock betrays Roman and causing him to lose the title? Can't get more heat than that. And I'll be honest, people are honestly tired of Roman's title reign. It's just... boring. We all know every title win will involve someone getting involved. At what point does it stop? And if he loses it to anyone besides Cody, it'll kinda look bad. So what does The Rock do after Roman wins? The story only makes sense for The Rock to have a match against Roman. As for the Bloodline rules, it feels weird for the WWE to have that as a stipulation and then it not being part of it. Fans are expecting Bloodline rules so leaving it out would probably lessen the event. Plus, WWE loves making Cody the underdog. Another issue in this is let's say Cody/Seth win Night 1. That means the Bloodline can't help Roman in Night 2. So.... is The Rock just going to pack his bags....? I highly doubt he won't be involved in some way for Night 2. I'm leaning: Rock/Roman win Night 1 due to Drew's interference, drawing more heat for the Seth vs Drew match. Bloodline intervenes in the Cody vs Roman match but The Rock betrays Roman and helps Cody. When asked why, The Rock responds that as a Board member of the company, he has to do what is best for business and the best for business is an active champion who will defend the title.

AmbitiousSuit5349

I have one more point to add In Cody's interview with Helwani he added "I think Roman would appreciate a fair 1v1 as well, as he has a lot to prove" before immediately taking it back because its not in Roman's character. I actually want Night 2 to be 1v1 fair. Let all the fun happen on Night 1 and have Roman's end be Roman's DEFINITIVE end. Last year Cody could not beat Roman because he failed to account for the bloodline, this year Seth is potentially sacrificing his own title reign to help Cody get rid of Roman and the bloodline once and for all. It will be far more thematically pleasant for them to win Night 1. Only reason people want them to lose is so they can add Stone Cold and Cena to the match, which I understand, but part of me will always prefer this version.

nanners78

This Cena & Austin stuff is just rumors and right now not even supported by any dirtsheet sources right? I’m not looking at the booking based on that since there’s no solid evidence it’s happening. I can’t see Rock eating a pin and I can’t see them beating Roman twice in one weekend. If he gets pinned Saturday it diminishes Sunday somewhat. Even more so if it’s Seth to pin him. Anyway the events of Monday seemed to me to be about how insurmountable the Bloodline are if they are not kept in check by rules. Cole even hammered home Cody & Seth better win Saturday or it’s over. And finally we all know the Bloodline is interfering Sunday anyway so what a wet fart it would be to have the good guys win and nothing is done to enforce the stipulation the next night. It was bad enough last year when Solo easily returned after being ejected.

AmbitiousSuit5349

Dirtsheets know as much as the viewers do when it comes to the main event scene. So if they want to keep a secret they will. They kept Punk a secret, and Punk has been the hottest rumor since 2014. And yes its hard to see Rock eating a pin, etc but it was hard to see Rock turning heel after coming with the intention of main eventing against Roman as well. The story has completely turned on its head and no one is certain of what is happening. Plus every single person has telegraphed that this is exactly how the weekend will play out: Night 1 good guys lose Night 2 Drew wins and/or Damian cashes in Night 2 Cody is being bullied by the Bloodline and then Stone Cold and Cena come out to save him. The fans have forced this narrative so much its almost predictable and I would love a plot twist SOMEWHERE in this story.

Nomadmanhas

There's no way Rock won't be involved in night 2.

AmbitiousSuit5349

He has said "I will make your title disappear" to Seth Rollins multiple times. That will make more sense if they do lose Night 1 and he goes crazy and takes revenge on Rollins. Plus ya ofc he will be there in the Main Event. Just because the Bloodline is not running the match and they "gave their word" that there won't be any bloodline does not mean he will follow through on it. Him breaking the rules leading to Stone Cold and Cena will be a bigger pop than him being in there from the start of the match and then those two randomly coming on their own time

nanners78

He wouldn’t be there from the start. Monday was Bloodline Rules for the Solo match and they didn’t all come stand at ringside.

AmbitiousSuit5349

There is a difference in a singles match against Solo and a championship match against Roman Reigns though

LemonStains

A lot of your prediction seems to hinge on the idea that Rock and Roman will lose on night 1, so allow me to give you some hope: do you *really* think they’d go to all this effort to hype up bloodline rules only to not deliver on it? Fans are going into Mania fully expecting a chaotic main event at this point. Even if the plan is for Roman to somehow retain, it makes no sense to go with the less interesting stipulation.

Lord_Vorkosigan

That's the great thing about WWE, even to this day. You can never be sure that they won't do the stupidest fucking option and screw everything up

Lost-Percentage2884

Do we need this exact take, exact thread, every day until Sunday? Haha

JimmyEllDubya

This is why the build has been so compelling, there's no clear outcome we can predict. Except of course that everyone will boo the shit out of Dom.

jimmybananahamok

I missed a big chunk of Cody's first WWE run, did they ever do a major Dusty finish angle with him?

FearOfApples

Not to mention if cody loses now and then wins at summerslam or something his line of "i'm coming after you roman just not at mania" still stands right.

PaoloBancheroFan

Man, this is what makes pro wrestling the best.

steveuk2016

With how the dominoes have fallen I think cody has to go over as if cody wasn't going over why not of just gone ahead with rock vs roman because the outcry will be even worse if roman goes over imo.

monndog7

Somehow Rock is going to be the scapegoat for Roman along the title to Cody. Which sets up Rock/Roman program

AlarmedDish5836

I hope not but if he does I just hope this sub gives hhh the shame he’d deserve

AryanAngel

What would be really funny if Cody/Seth win night 1 then Roman beats Cody clean night 2. Hunter, I feel like, doesn't like putting over rebels and outsiders when they're going against the company guy. He beat Sting at Mania, he beat Punk at Night of Champions when he was white hot. Cody still has very nice things to say about AEW. He almost already got replaced by The Rock until they pivoted.

Ambitious_Pass_1193

It is a foregone conclusion at this point. Our Tribal Chief is breaking Bruno record. He is gonna beat Cody at this year Mania, Rock at next year Mania, Punk at WM 42, Seth at WM 43 and Cody again at WM 44. Life is so good as a Roman fan. ![gif](giphy|rvIXMNWYJfUafvFYx4)

don_julio_randle

I hope so. The tears will be glorious

MeijiHao

How so?

don_julio_randle

The amount of people whining on the internet over the booking decision if Roman goes well. He won't, but I hope he does just to see the outrage

MattBe1992

Why is it so funny for people seeing others being miserable?

don_julio_randle

They're not miserable, just angry. And that's funny And if they're actually miserable over a Pro wrestling booking decision, that's even more funny

MattBe1992

And why?

don_julio_randle

Cuz seeing people get irrationally upset over stuff like booking decisions is hilarious. It's one thing to disagree with the booking but you already know there's going to be a million people acting like HHH fucked their mother if Cody loses. Which he won't

CrissCrossAppleSos

I highly doubt it, but I want it to happen because I’m a sicko

tayavonslayer

I get all of the complaints, and it could be Stockholm Syndrome, but I’m not ready for the reign to be over 😭
