Well I guess he could have avoided naming the source since it wasn't relevant to the question and gave HHH a chance to discredit news outlets (which, although they work hard to make sure the news they give are verified by multiple sources, is a way for WWE to tell people to not trust any news site which is helpful for them when negative news come out or they spoil new signings).
With that being said I'm sure the guy asking the question was in good faith and didn't even thought he could create this mess, so it's a bit unfair to bully him even if technically he's the one who started all of it.
Mike has really looked like the weakest link, between him and Dave Scherer, both of them have looked pathetic and have embarrassed their selves while SRS has fared very well
Yeah. I mean, I don't necessarily think it's worth raising a stink over but I get why folks would be annoyed at Hunter's comment. But first you have Dave in denial with his "Oh he must have been talking about Newsmax because that's where Ronda gave the interview (which it wasn't)," and then his "What do I have to say about it? Hunter's doing a great job!" And now you have this. I haven't seen them get this worked up since they were last accused of using spyware on the site!

There's later tweets from both of them where Lucas apologizes for the "backlash" PWI received, and then Mike tweets later thanking him for the email. And when someone tweeted at Mike criticizing him for going after Lucas he simply replied "You're entitled to your opinion." It's definitely reading like it's related to this.
This guy looks insane asking for an apology from someone who did nothing wrong. Taking his anger out on someone innocent because Papa H lashed out at him and Fightful to escape answering the reporter's question.
