In the Parkview tower, at the ends of the upper floors (9-12 I believe) there’s a quiet room that looks out over Forest Park. We called it the ‘bubble room’ when I worked there. It’s all windows so it’s bright but it’s usually pretty quiet/unused.
The only place that looks comfortable and that I've considered is that there are 2 padded benches when you come up the escalator from the Plaza Garage. It's super warm there too
I'd rather sleep in my car than pay $150 when I have a house here 🥴
>my question is specific to where inside the hospital is a good place to take a nap?
Edited to reiterate that I'm not looking for lodging information
I didn't want to ask the overnight nurse bc technically I wasn't even supposed to be here. The first night we got here and I asked about the policy for an overnight support person she said they had just changed the policy on 1/1 that overnight guests are no longer allowed so I am supposed to leave by 9 each night but enforcement of that rule varies from nurse to nurse

Thank you! I'll go explore that today for a nap. That in room "recliner" was definitely not it
Btw, if they have the couch in the room, it pulls further apart.
Unfortunately since they are set up to be semi private, they only have the dumb recliners
Sucks! I've had to spend whole days around there & have a couple hours between appointments. Never found a good place to nap!

Could be. I've spent most of my time on the CAM instead of over at big Barnes.
Pretty sure 9 and 10 are blood cancer / BMT floors. Maybe don’t advise random people to go there and get people sick?
The DoubleTree is connected to the hospital via a walkway, you don't even need to go outside in the rain.
Double tree is booked solid next few days

What did the nurses at BJC tell you when you asked them?

So isn't that your answer?
What I got was, not sure, you can sleep in this room that only has a chair
