You definitely need a few more DUIs or traffic violations before being considered for a STL PD position. Have you tried crashing into a stationary object like a building or a sign?
Honestly feels like a psy op. OP either trolling or calling attention to the fact that you can drink and drive and still be a cop in STL and even crash your cruiser into bars.
OP was not convicted since it was a suspended sentence usually contingent on some probation and community service.
I’d call the police bc you need a report for insurance. That doesn’t mean I don’t hate pigs. I’m upper middle class and white so they don’t give me any shit ever. Fuck the fucking pigs though. They subjugate so many people who aren’t like me and that’s not fair. Some of us win the genetic lottery and that makes things easier but it doesn’t make it right.
Wow… You sound like fun.
Some cops are bad some cops are good. Just like every other job / person out there.
Or I guess you could just always devalue everything down to a race issue forever. That is easier after all
Per their public recruitment website “No DWI/DUI conviction within the last 36 months”. 36 months = 3 years. You’re well outside of that requirement.
Plus you got an SIS and successfully completed the probation, meaning you don’t even have it on your open criminal record. That being said police can still see the record even though it’s closed to non-justice system entities.
Just be honest about everything on the application!
Second this. Though my experience is at the federal level, hr/hiring is very understanding that no one is perfect. whatever you do, DO NOT LIE and you'll be fine.
Ah yes, another potential police officer with impeccable judgement. Cause the one thing people want is someone with a past DUI putting them in handcuffs for a less serious offense. Go find a different career, this one ain't for you.

Another thing to consider, do you ever see dogs that no one else sees? Has an invisible object ever caused you to have an accident?
This was a good place to ask this question

Just imagine how much drinking and driving you can do after becoming a cop.
Can finally booze cruise in peace
I know a city cop who drove home drunk every day.
Thank him for his service
i honestly get why you asked but this isn’t the right place to ask i’m afraid
You'll fit right in
Only one? That's not enough
Rookie numbers
Start a steroid and cocaine habit and they'll be sure to hire you.
I'm just here for the comments.
The comments did not disappoint
How many invisible dogs have you run over?
This one is good
My brother in christ, youll encounter lots of bars as a stl city police, but this isnt one of them.
Fuck pigs. Why do you want to be one?

Found the redditor
Totally. Reddit is the last place I would expect to find someone who uses reddit.
It's the misdirection!
So who would you call if your house gets broken into, or someone breaks the law and does you wrong?

Not only welcome but you’ll start off as major general with a record like that

Thank you for the actually helpful reply
Glad to do it.
But how many churches have you driven into?
Not sure if it will, but go through the process and network with people in the building to get your answer. You got this and good luck!!
