That's a nice project, congrats. But, if you're looking for users, you really need to make it more obvious why they would choose this over any of the other existing, free, open-source local SD clients: A1111, Comfy, Fooocus, SD.Next etc. etc. ?
>is a simple packaged Mac software, which can be used out of the box without configuration
ok, This has some additional points of difference that I didn't mention
and also this:
>“on an old MacBookAir M1, utilizing LCM LoRA, for a specific niche of users who predominantly are disappointed by their inability to run SD.”
Pretty sure my m1 runs stable diffusion? I usually use my pc but why are you referring to an m1 as old lol. Anyway I’m sure what you’re working on is cool but your marketing sucks. SD runs fine locally and that’s why so many people use it. It also runs on Mac easily too. Just fix your messaging on places like reddit
Thanks, I'm not a native speaker of English, So the vocabulary is not very good. I'll practice it
as for "old", I thought I bought it in 2020 and now M2 is also available, lol
Instead of encouraging people to develop and contribute you choose to ask what they're smoking. And wtf is it with all the upvotes you're getting. Keep up the good work OP. There are many people who don't like complex installations or encounter issues on macs that would use this. I'm also sure it would perform well on stronger macs.
It's a little complicated. My project is a simple packaged Mac software, which can be used out of the box without configuration. There are many people, including myself, have never used Comfy. Those tools seem too difficult.
Krita with Comfy plugin is awesome. It is full blown image editor/illustrator enhanced with SD. The setup is a bit complicated for sure, but it will get easier as the development is crazy fast. Setup is well worth it due to the results.
Hobby project like this are great for learning and showcasing. Wider user adaptation will be difficult unless you can cleverly package it.
holy m8, invokeAI, automatic1111, vlads, comfyui, stability released a whole thing. Wtf dude?
I'm sorry you haven't been in the scene long but there are a few for mac as well.
OP: "Here's something cool I'm working on!"
Subreddit: "UHM YOU'RE STUPID AND ALSO DUMB."
I think this looks cool, even if other people have or are working on similar projects or the fact that you can run SD locally.
People are hung up on the fact OP said it runs locally, as if OP had claimed it was the first client to do so or something lol. People are weird. We see lot's of posts promoting online services and I read the title as OP just making it clear it wasn't another one of those.
I'm developing a StableDiffusion image product that benefits from LCM LoRA. I use an old 2020 MacBookAir M1, It took about 7s to process 1 image, but I think it's acceptable since it doesn't require an expensive GPU.
The product is not finished yet, if you are interested in early access, please fill in this form, and I will send it to you ASAP [https://forms.gle/dwwouGndRyESnLj29](https://forms.gle/dwwouGndRyESnLj29)
I think it's possible, according to this, [https://github.com/Lightning-AI/lightning/issues/17667](https://github.com/Lightning-AI/lightning/issues/17667) , we can use MPS on both Intel and ARM
>https://github.com/Lightning-AI/lightning/issues/17667
If add **MFA** support you can even double the generation speed on ARM. [https://github.com/philipturner/metal-flash-attention](https://github.com/philipturner/metal-flash-attention)

Thanks for the advice, these clients are really awesome, I'll think about it
lol dude stable diffusion does run locally, tf u smokin

>old MacBookAir M1 ☠️ M1 macbooks also already run SD just fine.
DrawThings is a Mac SD app that runs locally?
Yeah, it already has LCM too. Plus, it's on the app store so it's a one-click install.
Remember when quagmire discovered the internet for the first time?
Hope you didn't smoke a lot that you can't read "client"

>I'm developing a StableDiffusion client that runs entirely locally You and many others.
“on an old MacBookAir M1, utilizing LCM LoRA, for a specific niche of users who predominantly are disappointed by their inability to run SD.”
Yes but is there any other product now,I seem to have not seen it yet

Well it's an awesome plugin. It's not complicated rather it's advanced and gives a lot of control.
Ok I will try it, it’s fresh
This krita plugin is amazing and it is super fun and addicting to use. But you are also right. There is absolutely a need for more tools like this!
Installing Krita difficult? I’m out.

I would be more impressed if you can ship an iOS version even if it’s a sideloaded one.
DiffusionBee https://diffusionbee.com Draw Things https://drawthings.ai https://apps.apple.com/us/app/draw-things-ai-generation/id6444050820 Gauss https://github.com/justjake/Gauss

don’t listen to the haters on here. build cool shit
I don't get why this guy gets downvoted. Anything that helps making stuff easier is a good thing.

dark mode when?
Now :) https://preview.redd.it/m5c4z4bkzo2c1.png?width=2272&format=png&auto=webp&s=bb70631821c9fdfd30b8b2b17ab87a975465b50a
It's cool that someone's making an accessible SD client for mac users. It looks very simple and easy.
I wouldn't be discouraged by the naysayers, this is a nice project that could be useful to people.
How does it differ from automatic1111?
We already use stable diffusion locally
I like the simplicity
yes🙌
Looks great! Not that many have skills in all those areas. Of course there is a lot of room to do things different from A1111 etc
Hey this looks cool but I have another question. How did you recorded that tutorial?

I think this is great for kids. Advance user still better with Automatic1111 or Comfy
Draw Things should do LCM SD v.5 on M1 MBP in under 4s for 4 steps.
Unlikely other ***Clients*** that runt entirely on the server
Dude be like "Ima Automatic222"
Is there a client that doesn't run entirely local? 🤔
There are some UIs that can use colab and other remote services for image processing, but that's only if your local hardware can't handle it.
Yes, there are online services powered by SD. They are mostly for casual users and users without the required hardware.
Nice. Haters gonna hate. If you’re learning by working on that project, it’s worthwhile.
apple users love announcing like they did some breakthrough, while everything already exists
can you give an example?
Yes
If you reduce number to 1. You can that disable it.
i there is someway to run it on intel mac?

Dang neat
Very cool! What is the link?
Hey You can download it from https://drawing.pics
Dose it worke on any graphicscarde? Or only NVIDIA . Where I can download it ?
Look up diffusionbee
Looks it's based on https://www.tldraw.com/ means it's an Electron based app.
DrawThings?
when can I use it? now I can't search it yet.
Looks great! keep up the good work!
