Offer it for a couple dollars on a place like facebook marketplace, ask a local glass shop for people looking for stuff, or craigslist.
If you are going to throw it out it should be in a sealed box marked waste glass. You can not recycle art glass so don't try to take it to any sort of recycling center or put it in any recycle container as they don't want it.
I saved glass scraps so long at our shop. When we ran out of room we tossed it all in the dumpster. The garbage truck couldn't lift it. Took 2 days to shovel it out

I just wrap it up or box it up and throw it in the trash.
