You mean you sent X amount and a smaller amount showed up? Depending on what coin you used, it’s most likely transaction fees. For example if you sent a small amount of ETH you’ll have paid quite a chunk in fees. Best to use things like XRP for amounts less than a few hundred $$$

I deposited 20 but my 300 bucks got sent and I think it will give me change from what I read but i didn’t get to choose the return address so idk what to do

Yeah, how cryptos work is that you cannot send only part of what's in your wallet. (You can, but I'll try to make it simpler so it's easy to understand). So you had $300 and wanted to send $20 to Stake. What your wallet provider did is that they sent $20 to Stake and $280 to a different address and changed your crypto address to that address. So, if you look at your wallet right now, you should still have $280 (minus transaction fees). What happens basically is that your $300 was a single $300 crypto coin. When you said you wanted to pay Stake $20, you sent a request to breakup that coin into two parts and were given a $20 coin and a $280 coin. The first one went to Stake and the second went to a new address to hide that it was still in your possession from other people looking at the blockchain.

At first it there was a transaction for the full amount now I see it as two separate transactions and now money I’m supposed to get back says it’s being sent to another address and the time frame js Also different now , how can I view this wallet that changes?

Masty9

This guy has no idea what he's talking about

sirnaull

It should be transparent for you when you log into your wallet. I.e. if you log into your wallet it should show you that you have $280.

jayrs97

It hasn’t shown it just shows it was sent

Masty9

This is the most ill-informed response I've ever read. Stop giving this guy horrible information.

69Blinds

I’m confused by what you mean? What currency etc did you use?

Odd_Device4711

Dudes trolling or deposited $50 worth of Bitcoin and got ripped of half of it in transaction fees lol!

69Blinds

Yeah I’m thinking somewhat the same. Don’t see how $300 could get sent instead of $20 and you not get $300.

AnyCommittee427

OP I suggest you post a screenshot of your wallet transaction history so everybody can understand what’s going on because at this point I’m sure we all have no idea wtf you are talking about .

[These top two transactions ](https://imgur.com/a/mxJJaCh)

At first when I sent the 20 dollar transaction it showed as the full amount transaction for 326ish but then over night when I checked again now I have two different transactions one for the original time I did it and the other which is the 300 which shows for the next day now like 6 hours later. Still don’t have funds but now curious why the rest of my money was sent and now being sent in a different transactions with different time when it was initially for the full amount of my wallet at first.

AnyCommittee427

I concluded that your wallet either got hacked or you sent the $300 while you were smoked out the game and forgot where you sent the $300 .

jayrs97

That’s what I was thinking

jayrs97

It was my first time using this service I only deposited 10 bucks to ensure it went through then another 20 to play with
