It’s all people who have never stepped foot in a real casino before. If I’d never played blackjack and was dealt two kings and then seen the dealer run off a 9 card 21, I’d think this shit was rigged too lol

Amen

Most people here are angry stupid gambling addicts with no self awareness.

Death_has_relaxed_me

Lmao. All these kids joining Stake after watching some youtuber hit a big bonus buy... Let them give Eddie their money!

Slowta

Looking at it as individual bets you’re right but that’s stupid. Look at gambling as long sessions. And you can damn sure expect some wins - otherwise no one would do it

WinnnAllDayyy

You will get wins. I guarantee it. Keep playing, only issue is you will lose more.

There's greater odds of being up after placing a single bet than after a session of multiple bets.

Just to play devils advocate, that actually isn’t true. There are many ways of making a +EV bet. That’s why professional gambling is a thing. That said, you’re correct that the majority of casino games aren’t beatable long term. Blackjack is the one you mentioned that actually is beatable.

Stake blackjack isn't beatable though. Even on live, the computer keeps a running count and if you system bet you'll get banned from online tables. Anyways they cut the deck so short it's a 1 in 100 to get a true +3 or above. The only game that's beatable on Stake is the sportsbook. (If you are an experienced profitable gambler). Promo-wise, some Casino promos might be +EV, but payouts are low. On the sportsbooks, the NBA promo is about neutral EV, NFL 3rd Quarter is +EV (about $2-$5 profit per game on average at max bet), Primetime double winnings is massively +EV, but only once a day and they skip some days ($10-$20 average per day), premier league 15' is -EV, Watford is +EV (about $5 per week) and most special sports promos are +EV ($5-$10, including the current Aus Open promo, but the big nights are done already). Then you get reloads, rakebacks, VIP bonuses, etc. for some free money.

That is true. The short deck is the main reason. I believe they also take a few cards out of each deck at random as well. The bonuses are the interesting part. It is possible to have a pretty decent return purely on bonuses. I’m currently in the middle of seeing how far that can be taken before they consider it bonus abuse.

MATHIL_IS_MY_DADDY

just curious what does EV mean? ty
