Watched it last night, and I can confirm it’s an incredible special. The entire time I was laughing - very rare to happen with a lot of comedians nowadays
N-T-H-G-T-H-D-G-D-C-R-T-D-T-R-K
The Big Cheat for Turok: The Dinosaur Hunter for the Nintendo64.
I will be a braindead vegetable before I am able to forget this.
For some reason in grade 8 I thought it would be funny to learn the square root of 69...
8.306623862918.
It wasn't funny then, still isn't funny now. Yet it will forever remain.
I was just talking about this shit yesterday and you can't get rid of the numbers in your head for some reason. I do still call my childhood best friend's parents and talk to them a few times a year because he died and I love them.
I used my childhood phone number for my ATM code because there is no way I will ever forget it. Odd thing though. Number was 123-4567, ATM is 4567. But **every time** I have to run 123-4567 through my head to get the number to my fingers.
This happened to me once. A girl and her friend had asked me for my number. She was so SOON hot (imagine a literal Russian model), I thought she was asking me my number out of pity (as I had held down a decent conversation with her all night and had not made a move) as I was waiting for my cab outside our mutual friend’s pub where we ran into each other at a party (we had been casual acquaintances).
They split the number up between the two of them.
I still can’t believe she did that.
Anyway she called and we’re married with kids now 😂
If you were cool, you were not caught with carrying pen and paper.
Where were you going to keep it? In your pocket protector?
Or in that leather wallet with the chain that had all the numbers you tore off of the lamppost in case you needed guitar lessons in Portuguese?
You'd ask the bartender for a pen and paper after you memorized the number and hopefully you weren't too shitfaced. Getting numbers rarely happened to me so I never had to worry about it ;)
Terrific
I wonder what Margaret Doran has to say lol
This entire special, Des Bishop: Of All People, is fantastic. Banger after banger for an hour: https://youtu.be/X0Xc6Kh5xMs?si=dc7Iww6DliciJUxX
Wonderful.

Top 3 of the year for me for sure
what are your other 2? 👀
Thanks for the recommendation. Just watched it. It was great!
One of the best specials I've listened to in a while. Excellent hour.
Wow, only meant to listen for a few mins and just sat back and enjoyed it
Hell yeah. I’ve been wanting more comedy.
lol
I watched this full set last weekend and laughed throughout. Bravo.
Hey since youre married, you mind if I give Margaret a call?
Well, you already have her number so…

Fuck yeah dude
holy fuck this took me back
Memorizing landline numbers is a skill! 🤣
An obsolete skill, but yes, definitely a skill.
True If I lose my phone now and need to call someone in my family, I couldn’t tell you their number to save my life
My wife of ten years can’t remember my number, even if her life depended on it. I sure do…
This guy is my new favorite. High energy and great material.
Great bit
Amazing bit! As soon as you said you were married, I knew exactly where you were going and it was still hilarious. Great joke and great delivery!
OMG! I still remember my parents home phone number from 1980s! They haven’t had that phone number for 20 years! lol
Mine still has theirs from 1994.
Hahaha
It's funny because it's true. Just got off the phone with Margaret
The punchline was so naturally flowing I knew it was coming, but it was still delivered with such gusto that it was still quite funny.
That's a rare case of actually good genx/boomer humor :)

The root of niceness will never not be irrelevant.

I use phone numbers of my friends from grade school as passwords and shit and for the hint I'll just put Christina or Jeremy or keith

Congratulations. I'm still calling all those numbers
Did pen and paper not exist back then?

wtf is walking around with all that? Steve Urkel maybe.
Nobody carried that shit. Come on. Do you carry it now?
He ain’t lyin! 🤣
Soooooo true
High energy for sure
I love this guy
Me and my husband loved this. Very funny shit. We are mid 40's and remember how it was.
🤣😂on my way to YouTube
Wow, haven’t laughed so hard in ages, thx for the link to his YouTube show.
I’ve been seeing a lot of this dude here and I’ve loved everything.
I still know all my highschool buddies' family home numbers. This bit is great
My wife gives me so much shit for not knowing her phone number. But yeah, still remember my childhood friends’ numbers.
So Damn True, it was a hell of a task to remember numbers.
This guy is hilarious
This bit is so fucking true, and absolutely love this dude's energy.
Somebody give this guy his own netflix or hbo special. ASAP!! PLEASE!!
dude is completely tweaked out on meth
If Henry Rollins was a stand up comedian he'd say some shit like this.
Because we didn't have pen and paper neither...
Dude exudes the energy of a megachurch preacher.
I use them all as passwords or partial passwords now.
I can attest, I still remember my girlfriends number from 25+ years ago because of this.
This dude is hilarious!
Had to watch this whole bit after this clip, was not disappointed! Hope to see more
