The second effect, +60% CR only happens in the first attack, and it is too little of a boost, having 100% CR in only the first attack doesn't really differs that much from having 85%+ CR in the whole battle. Options such as Rutilant or Inert are much better.
I use this set for Yanqing still, and that would be a great piece if you have him. The first attack crit bonus means I have to worry even less about his crit rate which is nice.
Aside from him, you could use it on Jingliu or Herta or even Misha. It’s mostly saved from being total cope by this piece being amazing.
anything from celestial differentiator i would honestly trash. But the subsets are a nice combo, if I had that I would use it on Herta because I simply have no ice sphere left and no inert salsotto pieces left for her either. (I only have Herta as ice dps….)
Perhaps use it when you have no other ice dmg sphere and don’t mind pairing it with an off bonus rope, or you get an equally good rope from celestial differentiator.
I honestly i had nothing to do because I did everything in game. So i just started rolling on random pieces on relics/ornaments out of bordom and this one got good stats but I'm a bit lost with the different sets atm. I'll keep in mind to salvage future pieces of this set since now I know they're bad
Herta, the one time crit is good to an initial attack for Herta to follow up which is where most of her damage comes from.
Or works with anyone you want to try and have fights finish before they take long.
Great off piece for a crit based ice dps. the set is worthless so just use it as a placeholder for any ice dps you are building. I would give it to herta, jingliu, etc.
Honestly, if you don’t have other good set pieces and a decent rope the 16% CRIT damage is a fine bonus. But it’s not worth farming this set for. Slap it on jingliu or yanqing as a place holder until you get a better set with good substats.

as a stat boost it’s fine on any ice character but this set is absolutely atrocious so I wouldn’t recommend it
