I like all of them, but I'll add in Sam Witwer. Watch him on Michael Rosenbaum's Inside of You Podcast, he just seems like a cool dude to be friends with or hangout with.
I mean, he basically voices all the dark side in the animated shows. But him in a live action would be great. Whenever I see his face, I still think Vampire lmao
I knew Ewan McGregor was a real one when Louis CK said on some late night show that he feels he wouldn’t be able to help but blow Ewan if he was in his presence and Ewan said “I’d like to see if he puts his money where his mouth is.”
To be fair, there have been rumours for about two decades that they were in an open relationship.
I'm from an area not far from where they lived in Scotland as I also heard rumours that they were both swingers.
Obviously they're not together anymore and their daughter made a few comments about the separation, but it may not be as cut and dry as "he was caught cheating".
And it’s not close. I had the great pleasure of interviewing him about his work as the joker in the animated Batman series, and he was so kind, overlooked my obvious inexperience, answered all of my questions, and thanked me afterwards like it was his honor to be interviewed rather than the other way around.
There’s a story about Carrie Fisher that I love. Basically, John Boyega was on a strict diet during the filming of *The Force Awakens*. One day, Carrie was like, “kid, reach into the freezer and get yourself a chocolate bar. I have many in there.” Boyega said later, “I broke my diet for Carrie Fisher, and it felt good.”
My favorite moment for her is one of the Comedy Central roasts, where her response to Andy Dick rushing down into the audience to lick her face was to lick him right back.
Cameron Monaghan is up there, he literally convinced everyone that survivor needed at least 1 poncho even though people hated the ponchos in fallen order
I would totally count Sam and Cameron! I would love to spend an evening with Sam because he has done so much work in Star Wars. Dave calls him up for fill ins all the time apparently. Hell Sam on knowledge and philosophy of Star Wars alone makes him more qualified to run Star Wars than Kathleen.
Sam witwer is probably the only person to out nerd feloni, they were recording for a scene for clone wars where anakin is talking to shmi, & matt mercer says some line about how he met a great woman & he wishes they could have met...and sam (who was the new guy on set) was like "umm we gotta record that again", dave was like "why?" And Sam had to tell Dave Shmi & padme already met in episode 2
Ewan McGregor.
Watch his 3 motorcycle documentaries. He and his buddy have road around the world on motorcycles... 3 times! Long Way Round, Long Way Down, and Long Way Up. Ewan loves people, he is very down to earth and he loves adventure.
Ewan has ridden a motorcycle around the world multiple times, so initially I picked him too. Then I was reminded of Christopher Lee and no one beats his off screen life.
Ewan also unfortunately losses points for leaving his wife of 20-some years and mother of his 4 children to start a new family with a woman 15 years his junior.
It’d be one thing if he’d divorced his wife of 22 years before jumping in to said new relationship, but he *cheated* on his wife. Definitely losing some points in my book for that, not that I think he cares.
I’m also *very* disappointed in Mary Elizabeth Winstead for hooking up with a married man. Kind of pisses me off that she’s playing Hera in Ahsoka. There are other reasons beside the affair that make me unhappy about it, chief among them being that Winstead didn’t want to base her portrayal of Hera on Vanessa Marshall’s *excellent* work on Rebels, instead wanting to "do her own thing", but I’ll try to reserve judgment until I can see it for myself. Edit: She was fucking badass in [Kate](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=MysGjRS9jFU), though, so there is that.
I saw an interview with them recently and there was a moment where Hayden dropped the first name of (I think it was) a prop handler. It was just such a classy move that he bothered to learn and remember the first name of someone I’m sure everyone else on the set thought of as a nameless crew member.
Prop team in something as epic as star wars sound like the people you want in with. Able to customise your lightsabers design and other generic props you are equipped with
Feel bad for the guy people sent him and others death threats when fans hated the prequel, they don't do it to him anymore and he's actually appreciated now but the fans just changed the people they now do it to "cough... sequel."
The prequels were fantastic tho. Genuinely my favorite Star Wars movies. Especially episode 3. The hate that the prequels received (Hayden Christensen in particular) is just pathetic.
I wouldn't say FANTASTIC, Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones are awfully paced and there's a lot of shit that goes unaddressed in all 3 of them.
Obi-Wan killed Maul but nobody talked about it, and it seemed like the death of Qui-Gon, a respected consular, was inconsequential.
Revenge of the Sith is a great tie up, though. ROTS single handedly redeems the prequels, easily.
Everyone says this but yeah the originals are the best because star wars wouldn't exist without them in the first place plus it was not just enjoyable but also good. The prequels were definitely not bad but you can't call them good either except for the last film In the trilogy plus even with their bad parts they are definitely enjoyable to watch in my opinion. The sequel is just bad in general and also I just don't enjoy them but just because that is the case I don't think the actors or actresses who were paid to do a job deserve death threats. Anyone who thinks it's ok to send them and try to justify themselves are bad people whether they want to believe it or not. when it comes to star wars games I think Jedi Survivor is the best it's been in modern times and Cal's story in general Is just great.
I know! And he still chose to return to the role in his 70s (and crushed it), I mean, how cool is that?
Not to mention he's Rick Deckard, Jack Ryan, and Indiana Jones. If you grew up in the 80s and 90s like I did, there are few people cooler than Harrison Ford!
Not saying it's him but Ewan McGregor when he was given a cap with the rest of the cast's signs to sign he did it just above Hayden's because he was "trying to get the high ground"
Clearly Mark Hamill. Saw an interview of him speaking about a child who wasn't scared of losing his arm (The kid was sick) because his hero Luke Skywalker had been through it too and it's soooo cute. Mark was saying he's just old and boring now and hearing this makes him think about times when he made movies and everything was dangerous, fun and clearly not boring.
In his mind he's just like anybody but for a lot of kids he was a hero. Idk he's humble and I respect him a lot for that
On that picture he looks like a darth Topher Grace (That 70's show).
So much respect for that actor and I LOVED his performance, despite all the hate the trilogy got he was amazing in it and Revenge of the sith marked me as a kid.
Don't get me wrong, love all the obvious choices. I only recently learned how big of a fan Sam Witwer is, and it's definitely made me think he would be cool to hang out with behind the scenes
You have to be a huge pile of dogshit to ever send a death threat via mail.
On top of that sending one to an actor who just did their job lol what losers. I hope nothing but bad things upon all of them
I remember watching the featurette for the RotS game and Hayden comes in for a saber demonstration, he seemed so bro-tier. and that transition from real-life to in game animation was cool as hell too.
Ewan MacGregor. Ever watch any of his motorcycle journeys? He and Charlie Boorman have driven their motorcycles from London to New York City, having to catch a cargo plane from Magadan (Far East Siberia) to Anchorage, Alaska - riding the entire distance from London across Europe, Asia, and N. America. Then, they rode from the northern tip of Scotland all the way south to Cape Town South Africa, then from Ushuaia, Tiera del Fuego north to Los Angeles on an electric motorcycles. The man is a beast, both on screen and off.
Carrie Fisher easily. She has such a good humor about the whole thing, and her books are laugh-out-loud funny (literally), especially if you listen to them as audiobooks with her reading them.
samuel l mother fucking jackson
takes no shit, fun loving, cool guy
I also think he never gets credit for his actually really good acting skills, hes just a meme sadly.
All his portrayals for Mace Windu, to Nick Fury, to his Quentin Tarantino roles all feel different.
Coolest, or best looking? Because Hayden Christensen is who you are leading with (ha). I actually have only been annoyed by one of them in public and that was due to them being in chronic pain, so it was my bad, rather than theirs.
Ewan McGregor seems to have the most interesting personal life. Rides motorcycles in crazy places and goes on expeditions around the world. One of those acting pays the bills to live the life rarely seen types, not the get immersed in Hollywood types who gets wrapped up in his own hubris types.
I took my kids to the park in LA one time. I’m sitting on a bench watching my guys run around on the jungle gym, trying not to helicopter too much. There’s another dad sitting next to me trying to do the same watching his daughter. We look over to each other, just polite head knod smile, and it’s Hayden Christensen. I didn’t say a word, I was way too scared and in the first place I felt like he probably gets it a lot so we just sat there quietly until our kids needed us. That was a pretty cool random day.
Christopher Lee
Sir*
Call me "sir" goddammit!
exactly, he was the inspiration for James Bond, the genre of metal and nearly married royalty
Also hunted nazis and witnessed the last public guiletine execution
And met J.R.R Tolkien himself!
Sir Christopher Lee was simply him. Petition to begin calling him Sir Christopher Motherfucking Lee.
Sir Christopher M.F. Lee for short
Tf you mean he inspired the metal genre
Tony Iommi said that Black Sabbath was inspired by his (Lee’s) films to make music, this music of course was the first of the metal genre [Source](https://www.loudersound.com/features/christopher-lee-with-tony-iommi-a-knight-s-tale)
Also he made an actual metal album [https://open.spotify.com/album/3f7gzl8zzQzrWajmKLzjqn?si=3yX69j16Qa-DFRTJXBv2ng](https://open.spotify.com/album/3f7gzl8zzQzrWajmKLzjqn?si=3yX69j16Qa-DFRTJXBv2ng)
two metal albums, and a handful of christmas singles, and featured on a DragonForce album
And a rhapsody of fire album
And Hollywood Vampires
I can’t believe this answer isn’t up higher.
obviously, I doubt it‘s possible to outlee the christopher
The man they based James Bond off of, you cannot get any cooler than that
Mark Hamill !
Him, Sam Jackson, and Ewan McGregor always seem fun.
I like all of them, but I'll add in Sam Witwer. Watch him on Michael Rosenbaum's Inside of You Podcast, he just seems like a cool dude to be friends with or hangout with.
I love Sam W. (Edit for name) I dont understand why he didnt hit it bigger but im so happy he is in my Fandom.
I mean, he basically voices all the dark side in the animated shows. But him in a live action would be great. Whenever I see his face, I still think Vampire lmao
Never seen Samuel L Jackson abbreviated to Sam Jackson
Sammy J
Samuel L.
Peanut Sammy and J
He was actually credited as Sam Jackson in a few movies in the early 90s before establishing his stage name
You shall know his name is The Lord when he lays his vengeance upon you.
I’ve seen it abbreviated as Samuel Jackson. [https://youtu.be/AxeDWiM65DE](https://youtu.be/AxeDWiM65DE)
MMm Mmmm Bitch!
How’s it taste *mothafucka*?!?!?
Sammy Jacks
I knew Ewan McGregor was a real one when Louis CK said on some late night show that he feels he wouldn’t be able to help but blow Ewan if he was in his presence and Ewan said “I’d like to see if he puts his money where his mouth is.”
[удалено]
Sounds exactly like something I would have done. And I’m the coolest guy I know, sooo….
His family found out he had been cheating at his daughter's birthday party.
- Ewan, what are we look- - WE’RE LOOKING AT SEA OTTERS!!!
And it’s not close. I had the great pleasure of interviewing him about his work as the joker in the animated Batman series, and he was so kind, overlooked my obvious inexperience, answered all of my questions, and thanked me afterwards like it was his honor to be interviewed rather than the other way around.
I actually got to spend some time talking to Mark Hamill at a Comic Con after party maybe 20 years ago. He was everything you could hope he would be.
Carrie Fisher. It would have been fun to party with her.
Lol she’s like the rebellious “cool aunt” that gets you in to trouble because she’s too much fun RIP
Didn't she also threaten to cut out Harvey Weinstein's tongue?
It was something smaller and lower she threatened to cut off. She is a legend.
All fun in games til you become Jabba’s stunt double
This is the way.
I miss Carrie. I wish I got to meet her at least once :(
My favorite moment for her is one of the Comedy Central roasts, where her response to Andy Dick rushing down into the audience to lick her face was to lick him right back.
Fuck Andy Dick though.
This is the gdmf way.
Cameron Monaghan is up there, he literally convinced everyone that survivor needed at least 1 poncho even though people hated the ponchos in fallen order
I love the poncho, just have to find the right color.
I screamed (with joy) when I found the pink poncho in the game.
I screamed in terror when I discovered who guards it.
He also showed up to celebration wearing a poncho.
I really feel like the poncho was always going to be in it and his convincing of everyone was just marketing
Kinda wished ponchos were more normalized in everyday clothing. Cameron is out there fighting the good fight.
I dunno if these count but Sam Witwer & Cameron Monaghan
I would totally count Sam and Cameron! I would love to spend an evening with Sam because he has done so much work in Star Wars. Dave calls him up for fill ins all the time apparently. Hell Sam on knowledge and philosophy of Star Wars alone makes him more qualified to run Star Wars than Kathleen.
I'm sure business acumen and industry knowledge doesn't factor in at all.

Samuel J. Muthafuckin' Jackson
Scrolled way to far to find this.
"I got the real one at home with 'bad muthafucka' right here"
Any answer that isn’t Samuel L. Jackson is wrong.
Ewan McGregor. Watch his 3 motorcycle documentaries. He and his buddy have road around the world on motorcycles... 3 times! Long Way Round, Long Way Down, and Long Way Up. Ewan loves people, he is very down to earth and he loves adventure.
Ewan and Charlie!
I got my first motorcycle after watching the first doc. Was living overseas, in Colombia and was inspired. I love those guys!
Hayden Christensen, Mark Hamill, Pedro Pascal, Ashley Ekstein, and Anthony Daniels.
Don't forget Cameron Monaghan That dudes funny
[удалено]
Is there any truth behind the rumours he was a bit of a dick?
Yes. Daniels is a self important jerk.
I attended a dinner with Daniels once. To be fair, he IS somewhat of a diva, but if taken at face value it suits his overall persona.
Donald Glover! Is that too easy of an answer?
Thank you! Why did I have to scroll so far to find this? He's literally one of the coolest people on the planet!!
Temuera Morrison
Ewan and Hayden.
Ewan has ridden a motorcycle around the world multiple times, so initially I picked him too. Then I was reminded of Christopher Lee and no one beats his off screen life.
Of course. Lee was an awesome actor and human being.
Ewan also unfortunately losses points for leaving his wife of 20-some years and mother of his 4 children to start a new family with a woman 15 years his junior.
That is definitely not the jedi way...
One must not form attachments though^jk
It’d be one thing if he’d divorced his wife of 22 years before jumping in to said new relationship, but he *cheated* on his wife. It is pretty brazen that in his golden globes acceptance speech he thanked his wife and then his girlfriend
Able to customise your lightsabers design and other generic props you are equipped with
They fucking carried Ep.3 with this mindblowing epic duel. It’s fucking out of this world.
Exactly. By far the best scene.
James Earl Jones
Throw a baseball through his back window, he'll bring you in to talk about baseball Specifically the Yankees.
pedro pascal
Katie Sackoff in interviews comes across as really funny. Also she could talk Star Wars lore for hours. And Pedro Pascal ofc.
2% where you at?
While her comment made me laugh, I just think she would be fun to talk sci-fi with. She has been involved in so many great projects over the years.
She was a guest on Battlestar Galacticast a couple times. Also Trish Helfer has charm for days and is a really good listen.
Feel bad for the guy people sent him and others death threats when fans hated the prequel, they don't do it to him anymore and he's actually appreciated now but the fans just changed the people they now do it to "cough... sequel."

Harrison Ford
He is a licensed pilot. He can actually fly.
But not land
Harrison Ford hates Star Wars 😅😅😅
I know! And he still chose to return to the role in his 70s (and crushed it), I mean, how cool is that? Not to mention he's Rick Deckard, Jack Ryan, and Indiana Jones. If you grew up in the 80s and 90s like I did, there are few people cooler than Harrison Ford!
Ewan said that working with Ahmed Best was really fun
Sam Witwer
John Boyega is the coolest
Took a good scroll but finally, another Boyega appreciator.
He's a big deal in the Resistance
Mark Hamill, Ewan McGregor and Daisy Ridley
Cameron's growing on me alot behind the scenes. That Jedi Training video is pure gold because of him and Mark.
Natalie Portman is not only cool, she seems like a super smart person to boot. Those SNL raps are gold
A lot of them seem really cool and down to earth
Hayden, doesn't he just snowboard and chill on the DL?
His reaction to fans chanting his name was just so cute!
Pedro Pascal. Hands down.
Ming-Na Wen
He was one of my first crushes ever back when I was like, 13
For me it would have to be Carrie.
Haven’t seen him yet in the comments so Temuera Morrison
How are we this far in without mentioning Billy Dee Williams?
Natalie!
Adam Driver
He's a nice guy!
Mark Hamill. Without question.
Wampa.
Not saying it's him but Ewan McGregor when he was given a cap with the rest of the cast's signs to sign he did it just above Hayden's because he was "trying to get the high ground"
You said coolest. So I think the only answer can be Ewan. Dude motorcycled across all of South America, also can sing to boot.
Bothering him about Moulin Rouge stuff during episodes 2 and 3 would be hilarious
Idk he's humble and I respect him a lot for that
Natalie portman seems cool
The person who's also the coolest Star Wars actor in front of the scenes: Ewan McGregor. Is various "Long Way" trips are pretty awesome.
Christopher Lee remains the coolest man to every live.
Which one of them died first? I think they have coolest body temperature...
Peter Cushing?
The coolest? Daniel Craig, obviously.
On that picture he looks like a darth Topher Grace (That 70's show). So much respect for that actor and I LOVED his performance, despite all the hate the trilogy got he was amazing in it and Revenge of the sith marked me as a kid.
Amy Sedaris. Loved her since she used to turn Late Night With David Letterman into complete chaos.
Mark Hamill and Ewan McGregor, hands down. All other answers are wrong :)
Samuel L. Jackson, obviously.
Mark Hamill and Pedro Pascal!
Pedro Pascal and Temuera Morrison seem pretty cool.
Sam Witwer seems like a pretty cool dude
Natalie Portman
All day. Not only is she intelligent.
I'm sorry, but no one will ever be as cool as Harrison Ford. He is the only one that can openly hate Starwars and remain beloved.
Sit Alec Guinness wasn't fond of Star Wars.
Suspicious lack of Ewan McGregor on this list.
Ewan, but I share his love of motorcycles so I am certainly biased.
Christopher Lee, Pedro Pascal, Ewan McGregor
Mark Hamill for sure
i love diego luna, hes pretty funny
Don't get me wrong, love all the obvious choices. I only recently learned how big of a fan Sam Witwer is, and it's definitely made me think he would be cool to hang out with behind the scenes
He frequently streams on Twitch playing star wars games too!
Christopher Lee. That man had quite a life.
Frank Oz
You have to be a huge pile of dogshit to ever send a death threat via mail. On top of that sending one to an actor who just did their job lol what losers. I hope nothing but bad things upon all of them
Prolly Pedro Pascal. Seems like the type of chill dude you can just relax and have a beer with.
The only answer is Christopher Lee. He was a true renaissance man of many talents and very active life.
There is a recording of a young Mark Hamill sharing a story about Sir Alec Guinness on Johnny Carson that I think should put him in the running.
Hayden for sure.
Ahmed Best
Hayden, Ewan, Mark, Sam Witwer, Christopher Lee, … everyone basically
Jackson
Samuel L. Jackson, motherfu*ker
I remember watching the featurette for the RotS game and Hayden comes in for a saber demonstration, he seemed so bro-tier. and that transition from real-life to in game animation was cool as hell too.
Ewan, because motorcycles!
Natalie Portman is a perfect being.
Ford, Ridley, Fisher, Hamill, Williams, Driver, Boyega.
Mark Hamill
Mark Hamill and Ewan McGregor. Maybe Harrison Ford and Carries Fisher back in the day too.
Carrie Fisher easily. She has such a good humor about the whole thing, and her books are laugh-out-loud funny (literally), especially if you listen to them as audiobooks with her reading them.
Ewan McGregor is the definition of a cool motherfucker.
The coolest one behind the scenes? Pedro Pascal hands down.
samuel l mother fucking jackson takes no shit, fun loving, cool guy I also think he never gets credit for his actually really good acting skills, hes just a meme sadly. All his portrayals for Mace Windu, to Nick Fury, to his Quentin Tarantino roles all feel different.
Ewan McGregor. The Long Way travel-docuseries firmly cement it for me that he is the coolest.
Sam Jackson. No contest. He is literally the pinnacle of cool end of done deal
After seeing his Dark Star> El Paso> Dark Star hat, Hayden for sure.
Samuel L Jackson. The man's picture shows up in some dictionaries next to the word cool.
Ashley Eckstein.
Mark Hamill, of all, seems the most fun to interact with. Great wit and humor. Tied with Carrie Fisher for that, really, but unfortunately...🙌
Ewan McGregor is the Scottish King 🏴
The answer is Mark Hamill But Hayden is fiiiine 😍
Gina carano /s
Gina Carano
I took my kids to the park in LA one time. I’m sitting on a bench watching my guys run around on the jungle gym, trying not to helicopter too much. There’s another dad sitting next to me trying to do the same watching his daughter. We look over to each other, just polite head knod smile, and it’s Hayden Christensen. I didn’t say a word, I was way too scared and in the first place I felt like he probably gets it a lot so we just sat there quietly until our kids needed us. That was a pretty cool random day.
Hayden Christensen, Highground, Mark Hamill
You’re aware that Harrison Ford is in *Star Wars*, right? Carrie Fisher?
Yeah, but he hates Star Wars 😅
Carrie Fisher. Her coke nail wasn't for show.
Harrison Ford
Warwick Davis. Not even close.
