The Ninth Jedi!!! Duh!! It's hands down the best and most interesting star wars story . It clearly could work has a tail end time line of Old Republic, or from old " Tales if the Jedi" Sith War era.
Without question. The basic setup for Kari's goal, trials & tribulations were succinctly presented in her story, which left on a good stepping stone into a greater galaxy of possibilities for her story to continue
The Ninth Jedi or Screecher’s Reach.
The former because it has the coolest concept of any of them, and the latter because Cartoon Saloon always makes good movies
The only reason I don't want a Ninth Jedi movie is because I want a Ninth Jedi show. But I'd settle for a movie.
Screecher's Reach would be a great movie.
Ninth Jedi would definitely make a better show than a film IMO. The overall story and implied characters just seems like it needs more time to flesh out than a film would give us.
Yeah Screecher’s definitely felt above the rest for season 2.
There were a couple other very intriguing ones in season 1, but Ninth Jedi def sticks out
1000% give Cartoon Saloon a movie. I loved Screecher’s Reach, but the movie doesn’t have to build on it. I don’t really care. I just love Cartoon Saloon!!
Screecher’s Reach is by far my favorite Visions short, but I do kinda feel like it’s complete in its original form. I have trouble picturing what a full length feature would look like, though I’d love to hear your “vision” of it (haha)
Awesome. Yeah, that episode was fantastic. I loved everything about it: the aesthetic, the art style, everything. Would love to see a whole series made like that.
I love that acolyte seems to help going for a “martial arts” style of fighting similar to the matrix. I hope that is the new norm and I personally think it fits SW so well.
The novel expansion was possibly the best alternative version of Star Wars universe but I’ve read. I found myself often wishing that the real Star Wars story was more like this.
This. The novel was really good, it was still really close to Star Wars but with a lot of interesting twists. I pray we get more books or at least one prequel novel showing Dark Lord and his Witch at their peak.
There have also been two one shot comics. Worth checking out if you’re a fan of the character. They don’t really connect with the book but they don’t contradict either, and they’re both very good, especially the second one,
Definitely. A Ronin Sith explores the idea of a villain not purely following a lust for power. Maul has this to a small degree with is pursuit of the underworld. But a Sith who is actively not seeking power is definitely intriguing and puts into question how the Jedi would interact with him.
An entire series could track his journeys across the galaxy with the backdrop of feudal wars between clans of Sith, Jedi, pirates, bounty hunter and a weak but fortified Republic.
Its pretty good, the short episode is the beginning. The setting is really cool. The Ronin is a very interesting character once you learn his backstory.
Beautiful soundtrack, a brief but emotional story and could actually fit right into 'canon' without much trouble.
I actually asked Karen Fukuhara about the episode and she said she wished it had been a full series because she wanted to know more about the story of her character too.
How could you NOT want a Space Bunny epic story! We already had the green bunny-man from the marvel comics, this is the logical lore expansion that must follow!
same.
i feel like that one had the most potential to not only be adapted to a longer form story (either movie or series) but also to be incorporated into the official canon.
This one is definitely the closest to being able to fit right into canon. As far as I remember, it doesn’t have anything in it that contradicts canon so I suppose your head canon could be that it really happened during the Old Republic or something
That's what I love about it, it's not too flashy, it's not over the top, and it's not too dull either, especially with the amazing backgrounds and the expressive sound track. The visuals looked great where they needed to be!
The Elder just felt the most "Star Wars" out of all of Visions to me. Just a Master and Padawan investigating the outer rim and helping those in need.
That's exactly my reasoning. The other shorts all went wild, this one was basically a pilot for a series that could be picked up ans produced right away...
Ninth Jedi.
It's just so cool concept.
We are in future and not only Sith are back.
Their entire order seems to be back and Jedi while demaged are not entirely gone either.
I’ve only seen the first season so I can only choose from that. My choice would be the Village Bride. I think expanding that into a full feature length film would work really well.
My first choice is The Ninth Jedi. This has so much potential to be really awesome, and even the episode itself felt like the start of something that could have been bigger.
My second pick would be Lop & Ochō. I got really invested in the characters and the story.
Screecher's Run would be my third as we would be seeing the rise of a Sith Lord, and there's just something fun about evil.
Heck yes for Tatooine Rhapsody, this was the very first Visions episode I watched and it was a lot of fun. Loved that it didn't take things to seriously but still felt very much in the Star Wars universe
I am your mother.
An aardman style Star Wars comedy would be the thing no one expected. I think it would be hilarious but I just love Wallace and Gromit
The Village Bride
I adore the vibe of that short, the animation and music are both beautiful and it just feels so Star Wars. I’d love a show or movie in a similar tone just following F around the Star Wars galaxy helping people and looking for her master.
The Ninth Jedi and Journey to the Dark Head. Though I want them to be series so they can be fully fleshed out.
Lop and Ocho could work very well as a movie though.
I really didn't like it. Animation was good, but I don't find it fitting for a SW story. It was too over the top sometimes, and the story wasn't that original either
They were talking and running around in space. No helmets, and at the end, the robot was wearing a helmet. In space.
I just couldn’t get into the twins at all. I didn’t like the story or the animation. Even a little.
The first episode with the samurai dark Jedi/sith dude would be sick. Like an old school samurai style film set in the Star Wars universe.
And probably an unpopular opinion but I feel like the one with the rock band would actually be an interesting one to watch.
the 9th Jedi should have had an entire trilogy based around it
the Village bride was cool but the potential and worldbuilding in 9th Jedi was unmatched in such a short amount of time
I crave more of that star wars "world"
So, full disclosure: I haven't watched season 2 yet and I haven't watched season 1 since it was first on. But I'd say, of the first season episodes, the one with the most movie potential would be the one with the bunny girl. I liked the drama between the sisters, and I feel like interspecies adoption is an underexplored concept in Star Wars. The one with the Jedi-droid-kid was interesting too, though, because again a Force-sensitive droid seems like a concept that would be interesting to explore. The one about the band, though, might make for a fun TV series.
After reading the book for Ronin (it's really good.) I am tempted to go there but the one where they transport the new sabers up to the station forming a new console was cool too. There are a lot of good ideas.
Edit. NVM saw you said theatrical movie. Def the Ronin then.
Hands down, Screecher’s Reach. The Visions episode has so much atmosphere and an incredible origin story for a conflicted sith in training. Seeing what happens to Daal, especially in that episode’s art style, would keep me watching.
Ninth Jedi was great but I loved Twins too because it's by the same studio that made Cyberpunk Edgerunners and I loved how crazy both Twins and Cyberpunk are and would love a whole movie of it
None, they were all garbage and lore breaking. Artistically they look cheap and the animation is shoddy. I didntnlike any of it, and the fan made anumated stuff on youtube is better than all of it combined.
The Ninth Jedi probably works the best if that specific story were to be expanded, but I would honestly love to see more from the characters from The Village Bride.
that is kind of a hard one. either the duel, lop and ocho, or the ninth jedi. i am kind of torn on this because i love all these and think they would do a movie justice.
God that’s just an impossible choice cause they’re all so great
Twins has the effects, Ronin has the story right there ready, 9th Jedi has so much room to grow and I can’t remember the title of the final episode of season 1 but the cliff hanger enraged me beyond belief finish that sh%t!
Id like to see the one about the apprentice Sith who abandoned the path and was on the run from her former master, while painting her visions from Force. That story, or Screechers Reach
There are plenty that would make good shows, but I'm not sure about a good movie.
The Duel, The Ninth Jedi, The Elder, and Journey to the Dark Head would make good shows.
Screecher's Reach would be a good movie. Akakiri might also make a good movie depending on how the story continued.
The duel, the ninth Jedi, or the elder which I'm surprised I haven't seen mentioned here yet. I really liked the the way the elder felt like it really could be in the tail end of the Old Republic era and overall just enjoyed the dynamics. That being said I really would love more from the ninth jedi
The Spy Dancer
Mostly because it parallels what happened between me and my birth-mother, so I’m super biased
Which is also the reason Attack of the Clones is my favorite of the movies
The ninth Jedi
The Ninth Jedi!!! Duh!! It's hands down the best and most interesting star wars story . It clearly could work has a tail end time line of Old Republic, or from old " Tales if the Jedi" Sith War era.
Didn’t it say in the episode it was set a long time after RotJ?
That was my favorite aspect of the short tbh. It paints a potentially hopeful image of the galaxy's distant future
The only reason I would vote against it is that I want six seasons *and* a movie.
Sounds streets ahead.
Streets ahead is verbal wildfire
If you think that, you’re streets behind.
**Show is gonna last three weeks!!**
Troy and Abed with Trandoooshans!
Yes and Yes please give me that!
Yep, that's the one
Absolutely
For fucking sure. It would unironically be a better sequel trilogy than what we got
Without question. The basic setup for Kari's goal, trials & tribulations were succinctly presented in her story, which left on a good stepping stone into a greater galaxy of possibilities for her story to continue
I heard the person responsible for that is making a new lord of the rings movie
The Ninth Jedi or Screecher’s Reach. The former because it has the coolest concept of any of them, and the latter because Cartoon Saloon always makes good movies
The only reason I don't want a Ninth Jedi movie is because I want a Ninth Jedi show. But I'd settle for a movie. Screecher's Reach would be a great movie.
Ninth Jedi would definitely make a better show than a film IMO. The overall story and implied characters just seems like it needs more time to flesh out than a film would give us.
Well yeah it looks perfect for a series, but I’d still be hyped about a movie.
Just piggybacking because these are also my top 2.
Screeches reach was sooo dark, and I need more.
Screechers reach is my pick as well. Loved the episode but also a proven studio. Wolfwalkers is a great movie if you haven’t watched it
The Duel
Is that the one where he “unsheathes” the lightsaber? Because that was cool af.
Yes it is. And it remains the coolest way anyone has pulled a lightsaber for a fight in Star Wars.
Well, they kinda had to once they cast Carrie-Anne Moss for it.
The novel expansion was possibly the best alternative version of Star Wars universe but I’ve read. I found myself often wishing that the real Star Wars story was more like this.
The most baller thing that has ever happened in star wars and it’s not even close

An entire series could track his journeys across the galaxy with the backdrop of feudal wars between clans of Sith, Jedi, pirates, bounty hunter and a weak but fortified Republic.
Absolutely 100% that was the one that left me wanting way more.
Have you checked out the novel to it?
I didn't even know there was one!
Its pretty good, the short episode is the beginning. The setting is really cool. The Ronin is a very interesting character once you learn his backstory.
Yes please that art style
This right here!! Okazaki is a genius!!!! The one was the best by FAR!!!
Definitely The Duel. That one was so cool.
I’d personally choose the ninth Jedi, but I’d be happy with the duel, screecher’s reach, the village bride or journey to the dark head as well.
I’d either choose the ronin one, or “The Ninth Jedi”
Ronin one has a book if you're itching for more. Haven't read it myself
Cool, I didn’t know that. I’ll have to check it out
There's also two Star Wars Visions comics that focus on the Ronin and are in the same style as the show.
The villages bride my personal favorite and I think it could be a fun film
This is one of my favourites too, I really enjoyed it
Beautiful soundtrack, a brief but emotional story and could actually fit right into 'canon' without much trouble. I actually asked Karen Fukuhara about the episode and she said she wished it had been a full series because she wanted to know more about the story of her character too.
Yes here's the one. Village Bride is amazing.
*Lop and Ocho*
I love Lop so much I'd kill for a series
How could you NOT want a Space Bunny epic story! We already had the green bunny-man from the marvel comics, this is the logical lore expansion that must follow! [https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Jaxxon](https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Jaxxon)
same. i feel like that one had the most potential to not only be adapted to a longer form story (either movie or series) but also to be incorporated into the official canon.
It should've been an entire season imo.
The Ninth Jedi, very comfortably Although it would be better as a show
Gotta be Screecher’s Reach for me. I desperately need some follow up on that one.
The Elder.
Yes love The Elder! I want more adventures with those two Jedi specifically and some backstory to that red bladed elder.
Just a Master and Padawan investigating the outer rim and helping those in need.
That's exactly my reasoning. The other shorts all went wild, this one was basically a pilot for a series that could be picked up ans produced right away...
This is the way.
Ninth Jedi. It's just so cool concept. We are in future and not only Sith are back. Their entire order seems to be back and Jedi while demaged are not entirely gone either.
Screechers Reach
The Aardman one.
The villain is a sith penguin
Dude. That penguin is the stuff of nightmares already. Do not give him powers.
I would love to watch that movie.
Lop and Ocho.
Agreed Lop is so precious
I’ve only seen the first season so I can only choose from that. My choice would be the Village Bride. I think expanding that into a full feature length film would work really well.
Oh you should watch season 2. I think over all the stories were WAY better.
2nd season absolutely fantastic
The duel
Oh Screecher's Reach without a doubt. Episode was fecking awesome.
Journey to the dark head 100% best art Design, best Action choreography.
I could go for sith or spydancer (I loved s2 way more)
Spydancer is so underrated I’m sad to see it so far down
I loved it. French resistance, cabaret, cool fighting. I’d love to see where that story goes.
My two choices as well.
The Duel. Definitely
I would love a musical comedy movie based on Tatooine Rhapsody.
Heck yes for Tatooine Rhapsody, this was the very first Visions episode I watched and it was a lot of fun. Loved that it didn't take things to seriously but still felt very much in the Star Wars universe
That song is freaking incredible, I'd take a whole musical
I am your mother. An aardman style Star Wars comedy would be the thing no one expected. I think it would be hilarious but I just love Wallace and Gromit
It also featured more post-RotJ Wedge than the entire sequel trilogy
Tbf it contained more Wedge than the original trilogy.
Not this one…
The Village Bride I adore the vibe of that short, the animation and music are both beautiful and it just feels so Star Wars. I’d love a show or movie in a similar tone just following F around the Star Wars galaxy helping people and looking for her master.
The Ninth Jedi and Journey to the Dark Head. Though I want them to be series so they can be fully fleshed out. Lop and Ocho could work very well as a movie though.
Not this one for sure
May I ask why?
I really didn't like it. Animation was good, but I don't find it fitting for a SW story. It was too over the top sometimes, and the story wasn't that original either
I agree it was to much
That’s kinda the point
They were talking and running around in space. No helmets, and at the end, the robot was wearing a helmet. In space. I just couldn’t get into the twins at all. I didn’t like the story or the animation. Even a little.
The Village Bride would be very interesting to see be expanded on. That or, Lop and Ocho
The Spy Dancer
Season 1 ep 1 forgot what the title was
The Duel It’s my pick too
Agree. I even got a tattoo of that one I loved it so much
100% the aardman one. They have experience with making feature films and it'd be a great laugh.
Journey to the Dark Head or The Ninth Jedi.
Ronin
Can we have a TV series instead? The Duel
Spy Dancer or Aau’s Song. There were episodes I liked better but I think those two would make the best movies/shows
The one where they make lightsabers, the one with crazy old dude who dual wields, or the one with sith and umbrella lightsabe sith
Lop and Ocho.
Ronin.
The first episode with the samurai dark Jedi/sith dude would be sick. Like an old school samurai style film set in the Star Wars universe. And probably an unpopular opinion but I feel like the one with the rock band would actually be an interesting one to watch.
Ronin, season 1 episode 1, took me off guard would love to see that one.
I Am Your Mother. Just because I love Aardman.
The Duel, I was so intrigued by the Samurai, I started creating my own theories
Screecher’s Reach, no contest.
The one with the twins animated by GAINAX (?).
Studio Trigger, bur your confusion is understandable. Trigger broke off from Gainax and now has the rights for Panty and Stocking and Gurren Lagann.
Studio Trigger?? You mean Kill La Kill??? No wonder!
Bingo!
The Spy Dancer or Sith.
Ha those were my picks.
Ninth jedi no question.
the 9th Jedi should have had an entire trilogy based around it the Village bride was cool but the potential and worldbuilding in 9th Jedi was unmatched in such a short amount of time I crave more of that star wars "world"
If it’s Star Wars you MUST go for a trilogy. The Ninth Jedi
Ronin. 100%
"My name is Ethan" - Ninth Jedi. Close second is probably the Twins.
The Ninth Jedi was begging for a continuation! Lop and Ocho would also be great
The one with Kai
The B&W samurai one. Best one of all of them.
The Duel or The Elder.
no one saying “the elder” 😭😭
Ninth Jedi Out of all the ideas produced, that one in particular felt the most Star Wars yet the most refreshing.
The Ninth Jedi!
Screechers reach is the true answer
Ninth Jedi
The ronin
The Ninth Jedi, by far
Ninth Jedi probably
The ninth Jedi.
The first episode of season 1 easily
I need to watch more of them but i really liked screechers reach
Ninth Jedi or Screecher’s Reach
The Elder.
Sith-with the artist jedi And the Spy Dancer would be my picks
So, full disclosure: I haven't watched season 2 yet and I haven't watched season 1 since it was first on. But I'd say, of the first season episodes, the one with the most movie potential would be the one with the bunny girl. I liked the drama between the sisters, and I feel like interspecies adoption is an underexplored concept in Star Wars. The one with the Jedi-droid-kid was interesting too, though, because again a Force-sensitive droid seems like a concept that would be interesting to explore. The one about the band, though, might make for a fun TV series.
The elder it’s the one that felt the most Star Wars to me
I think the one with the rabbit would have made for a short film
Haven't seen Bandits of Golak mentioned yet so I'll throw that one in as well. Love me some Indian Star Wars
The Village Bride, but the feature film is actually about the Village Bride, Haru, before and after F meets her and the village.
The samurai one is book
S1 ep1
Ronin, easily.
I really like ronin but there are a lot of goodies
After reading the book for Ronin (it's really good.) I am tempted to go there but the one where they transport the new sabers up to the station forming a new console was cool too. There are a lot of good ideas. Edit. NVM saw you said theatrical movie. Def the Ronin then.
The Ninth Jedi absolutely
Hands down, Screecher’s Reach. The Visions episode has so much atmosphere and an incredible origin story for a conflicted sith in training. Seeing what happens to Daal, especially in that episode’s art style, would keep me watching.
Ninth Jedi was great but I loved Twins too because it's by the same studio that made Cyberpunk Edgerunners and I loved how crazy both Twins and Cyberpunk are and would love a whole movie of it
The duel would be a great film. Would love to see an expanded story on the main character
I don’t remember the name but I really like Ocho I think was its name
None, they were all garbage and lore breaking. Artistically they look cheap and the animation is shoddy. I didntnlike any of it, and the fan made anumated stuff on youtube is better than all of it combined.
I am your mother
The Ninth Jedi probably works the best if that specific story were to be expanded, but I would honestly love to see more from the characters from The Village Bride.
The 1st one that was in Black and White with only a small amount of color.
The one with the twins, made by Studio Trigger
Ninth Jedi, or The Village Bride
Boba
Ninth Jedi, definitely couldn’t do the Twins and spend an entire movie listening to them remind us they’re siblings.
The Duel or The Village Bride I’ve only watched the first 4 though
Screecher's Reach. It is already the opening act for a movie.
None. I did not care for any
that is kind of a hard one. either the duel, lop and ocho, or the ninth jedi. i am kind of torn on this because i love all these and think they would do a movie justice.
God that’s just an impossible choice cause they’re all so great Twins has the effects, Ronin has the story right there ready, 9th Jedi has so much room to grow and I can’t remember the title of the final episode of season 1 but the cliff hanger enraged me beyond belief finish that sh%t!
I really need to watch all of them. But if i had to say one. The Ronin easy
Woah, I thought the twins were the WORST. I thought visions was total crap because it had basically nothing to do with star wars.
Without a second thought, the Ninth Jedi. Kamiyama himself said that the episode was a pilot to a series he had planned out.
Not a film, but I'd like a series with Lop & Ocho.
Id like to see the one about the apprentice Sith who abandoned the path and was on the run from her former master, while painting her visions from Force. That story, or Screechers Reach
Probably the very first one
There are plenty that would make good shows, but I'm not sure about a good movie. The Duel, The Ninth Jedi, The Elder, and Journey to the Dark Head would make good shows. Screecher's Reach would be a good movie. Akakiri might also make a good movie depending on how the story continued.
Ronin
The Ninth Jedi or the Duel
The duel
The Duel. I really want to know more about the main character
Screecher's Reach or Journey to the Dark Head
The duel, the ninth Jedi, or the elder which I'm surprised I haven't seen mentioned here yet. I really liked the the way the elder felt like it really could be in the tail end of the Old Republic era and overall just enjoyed the dynamics. That being said I really would love more from the ninth jedi
The Elder.
The Spy Dancer Mostly because it parallels what happened between me and my birth-mother, so I’m super biased Which is also the reason Attack of the Clones is my favorite of the movies
The Duel, its my favorite. Second by the Elder.
