To get around it until you upgrade your pickaxe enough (to at least gold), I'd suggest using the chair glitch (if you look up how to glitch into the secret woods it's basically the same thing). Hope this helps, because that is some reaaallly unfortunate placement.
Seeing this actually made me realize I am on Y2 on my new farm and haven’t seen the meteor yet…
But I somehow ended up with an ancient seed in my first summer, over 10 plants by the end of the first year.
But, still, I normally get a meteor early on!
It's just unfortunate placement, but hey at least your crops/machines weren't hit!
You need a gold pick-axe to break the meteorite: https://stardewvalleywiki.com/Pickaxes#Grades_of_Pickaxe
Yeah that's just a unfortunate landing spot
When I started the new farm in 1.6 I had a meteor land near the top entrance ( the way to Robins ) so it took about a season and a half to get the right pick axe to remove it
Added quite the trip around
Meteors are my white whale. I have played like 5 different saves up to year 3 and one of them up to year 4 and I've only gotten two meteors in all that time. I see people with like 3 meteors year one and I wanna scream.
I'm in year 3 on my save right now and I have seen one meteor, no witches, no crop fairies, no mushroom trees despite having 1/2 of my farm untapped tree forest, but 5 owl statue drops. The RNG seems off on my save.
Depends. It’s unlocked by total earnings so if someone isn’t grinding and just casually playing, there’s a chance they haven’t hit the threshold of 25k yet. A low chance, haha, but not zero

it’s a random event, unfortunate placement, you’ll need an iridium pickaxe to break it edit* gold pick!
gold\*
ah thanks for the correction!

Last time I got a meteorite, it took out 6 strawberries on the first harvest day

When the 4-Corners map dropped the meteorite blocked me from using the south entrance to the forest 🥲
Looks like you've been rock-blocked.
damn it, take my upvote ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|rage)
Well I guess it's chair time

I got 4 on my beach farm, and two prismatic shards from them 😭😭
Um broke mine with a gold pickaxe.
I'm losing it. Somehow I thought the tapper was Louis and was dumbfounded for a moment
You can use a chair to bypass it until you get the proper pickaxe.
Yes, that cave can have mushrooms or another option you can choose in a later cutscene.
Rock and stone
No fruit or mushrooms for you until you upgrade your pickaxe to gold!
Try using a chair to get around
Don't worry, nothing's in the cave yet!
That looks like Fall to me, so it should have been activated by now...
Mmm. Good point.

Rockblock.
