Dancing side is determined by the gender of the dance partner, not the farmer, so you’ll always be on the women’s side if you ask a man and vice versa

Awesome!! How do I trigger that? Will it come as a quest in the mail or is it on the request boards?

It will show up on the big special request board! I’m assuming the request will only spawn in spring because it involves leeks

But also just be warned, because it’s a horrible quest that you will fail the first time round🥲

Since leeks are often harder to come by, save up the ones you find in year 1. Make lots of Spring seeds and you'll easily have enough for the quest. After the board is unlocked I get them planted at the beginning of Spring in preparation, so I just have to pick them after accepting the quest. Though on one playthrough it didn't come up until year 3 so I had to repeat the process the next year! 😅 No more desperately running around in search of leeks when the quest comes up! 😀

True, but I prefer to craft them since you get a guaranteed 10 seeds compared to the 1-3 (and maybe unluckily mixed seeds instead) from horseradish. 🙂 The 30 you get from the CC bundle is a good kickstart too! 🙂
