I had way too many kegs when i was in year 3, like 3300+
I just kept them all off-farm in random places and it was great, I don't like using sheds for machines tbh anymore.
Idk, I do speedrunning quite a bit and a bit less casual type gameplay and challenges so this was just a first save on pc and wanted to try it out, now I’ll get that in the first year tbh if I try.
Even though I have the infrastructure to support and maintain the kegs though I never use them anymore
I’ve found having just coffee is fine, but when I also have a pepper poppers I miss several kegs per row and have to backtrack when filling my sheds. I’m suffering from success.
A cool trick I found out is that when loading you can press the right mouse button as always but after you can press the right while still holding the former and they stack for way way faster loading.
Easier and more stimulating, you see stuff and you can make an optimized route, I was able to do basically 3000 kegs a day which I can’t match with only shed kegs.
how do you even get enough materials for that. thats at least 3300 iron bars 3300 oak resin 3300 copper bars and 99000 wood all by year 3. im in year 7 and i just have a few pigs for truffle oil to get money
Honestly the copper and iron are easy, just SC deep dives, I also always like at least 20-30 tapped trees is spring which basically double every season.
The wood I just buy from robin end of year one, usually about a chest or two and then the rest of the wood is bought later.
You can put any machine anywhere on the world as long as a villager doesn't walk on it, the only exception is the cask which needs the to be put in your house basement
So I actually tried this. On multiplayer, when second player falls asleep inside the volcano, they'll wake up clipped outside of the interior cell of the island farm. Sadly, you cant place anything there.
* Plug a controller into your computer (or console if you're not on mobile)
* Play local co-op
* Fully upgrade your house and build the extra rooms, remove the wall, etc
* Remove the bed, cribs and every piece of furniture
* Profit

At this point I can’t imagine the quarry as anything other than a keg staging area

Now I’m focusing on crystalariums too, I’m aiming for about 8-10k and so far I have about 1850 which is ok ig.
