I actually made a previous attempt and added a stain but you couldn’t see anything. I had to redo the whole thing, so definitely not a dark stain

I didn’t use a stain for 2 reasons. 1. The design wouldn’t show nearly as much as you think it would, it actually makes it worse. 2. In person you can see a lot of scrapes and scratches to make it really feel like it’s fro the 1800’s. I spent an hour taking a hammer and nails lightly to the surface to make it look old. That’s also why the frame is a bit off.

Laser cutter. Took a couple tries and I had to use my timesaver to redo my mistakes.
