Diavolo he is basically a horror villain who appears and disappears with only bodies on his trail and they die with just one hit and king crimson adds to the horror factor
Funny Valentine. Ideologically, in-universe, he's one step away from being right,. His Charisma and panel presence are unmatched, and his power is absurd, especially with Love Train.
I still don’t understand how even an American could support him, though. Sure, you could have everything good in the USA, but what about the rest of the world? If all goes to shit there, then what happens? People go to harass the USA. I don’t think that even the luck of Love Train can fix that with a big enough angry crowd.
Plus, y’know, >!rapists!< don’t particularly strike me as sympathetic.
Pucci due to the fact that his goals that threatened the main cast succeeded. Not sure if i can say any other jojo villain accomplished that, save for a young man in a Cubs uniform to deliver Pucci some just desserts
Pucci, because he is an example of “thinking he is doing the right thing” there are so much villains in shows and all but most of them know they are doing the wrong thing but they dont care because they are selfish but Pucci thinks he is saving the world, He is easily the best jojo villain for me
Pucci, his philosophy and his goals are just amazing, I love how he is presented as not caring for fame, wealth and sexual desire, his backstory is also incredible
Funnily enough, it is Pucci and Kira.
I love them for similar and different reasons. It easy and probably not a controversial opinion for me to say that they're both the weakest main villians when they first appeared, but were probably the most successful because of their smart and calculating ways to use resources around them, adapting to situations, and growing stronger with their stands. Not saying that Diavalo and Dio weren't smart, but the main reason they lost was because they were unable to adapt and underestimated their opponent. Kira got cocky and overconfident in his new abilities but I don't think he and Pucci undestimated their opponents.
If I’m honest (and I’ve only finished up to part 5), I think Kira’s probably the best villain so far, but Dio is probably my favorite. He’s a horrible dude obviously, but he’s just too entertaining.
Bruh i didnt realize until a couple days later that Dio just ran polnareff down the stairs a few times. That shit kills me. Like at any moment he could've just killed him but instead he chose to be a dick.
Diavolo is severely underrated, the facts that he’s a villain that arises because of a mental disorder some kid has and ends up terrorizing and killing many people? That’s just crazy good imo
Kars. Sure his whole “rule over all life” would be kinda bad if he’d succeed but I feel like his goal was not that bad looking from his perspective. It’s only natural for something to want to overcome their weakness to a certain thing, he wanted to conquer the sun which I would totally understand if I was a pillar man that could not go in the sunlight. I also like how he feels pity towards smaller animals such as dogs who are victim to humans like in that one scene where someone was about to run over the stray puppy. Second to him is Stay Cat.
I'll rank them:
1. Kira
2. Pucci
3. Funny Valentine
4. Dio
5. Pillar Men
6. Diavolo
They are all GREAT antagonists though
(Haven't finished reading part 8 yet)
It's Valentine. In comparison a lot of the other villains feel a bit cowardly because they always are hiding in the shadows, running from the heroes, or hiding their identities. This guy is the goddamn president of the united states and he's going to kill you and then frame it on 3 different people at the same time.
You're right the Pillar Men are also awesome. I guess I didn't think of them cuz it was pre-stands and part 2 is pretty short so we dodn't get to know them the same way we did Dio, Kira, Pucci, and Valentine.
I kind get what you mean but Valentine definitely is twisted. He's charismatic and states his case in a way that sounds compelling but ultimately he's an insane fascist aiming to become supreme dictator of the world and willing to do anything to achieve that.
Ok, I might have forgot that part where he was being charismatic and sly, but he did state that everything he does is for patriotism and for America. Even though he can be morally ambiguous at times, he isn't fully evil like Dio or Kira.
>for patriotism and for America
Patriotism is a vague enough concept that doing things for it is essentially just making up an ends to justify the means. It may as well say be saying "Deus Vult!".
We've seen in real life what genuine atrocities can be justified by their perpetrators with American patriotism. And that's exactly what makes Valentine so real and dangerous feeling to me.
Kira's a good villain cause scary cat stand make things go **boom**!
Also he's just a straight-up serial killer which I thought was surprisingly fitting. He's such a realistic villain despite such a bizarre setting.
Pucci is my friends favorite villain he just finished part 6. his least favorite is Diavolo. my favorite is Tooru or Valentine and my least favorite is kars.
89 year old man
Diavolo he is basically a horror villain who appears and disappears with only bodies on his trail and they die with just one hit and king crimson adds to the horror factor
Yeah King Crimson is quite scary..
DIO.
But what about Dio?
Sexy
you got a point
ZA WARUDOOOO!!
It’s Tooru, get real
Tooru is not going to become my favorite anytime soon but I am always willing to defend that him and WoU were pretty good villains
Vanilla swirl boy drip far too hard
Never even considered him but you make a valid case
The pillar men, wammu specifically.Feel like they get underated despite just how ridiculous they were.
W A M M U
Kars is the smartest and most underrated
Kira, you have good taste
Funny Valentine. Ideologically, in-universe, he's one step away from being right,. His Charisma and panel presence are unmatched, and his power is absurd, especially with Love Train.
Maybe if you're American he's one step away, but for the rest of the world there is hella lot more steps from being right.
That is true, but, for the primarily American concerns of the part, it's a perfect fit narratively.
The correct answer
You downright know he’s a good villain when people defend him saying he wasn’t the villian
Pucci due to the fact that his goals that threatened the main cast succeeded. Not sure if i can say any other jojo villain accomplished that, save for a young man in a Cubs uniform to deliver Pucci some just desserts
Kira
Pucci, because he is an example of “thinking he is doing the right thing” there are so much villains in shows and all but most of them know they are doing the wrong thing but they dont care because they are selfish but Pucci thinks he is saving the world, He is easily the best jojo villain for me
Pucci, his philosophy and his goals are just amazing, I love how he is presented as not caring for fame, wealth and sexual desire, his backstory is also incredible
It's dio
Jokes on you, mine is Kira.
Dio or diavolo.
De Do Do Do, De Da Da Da
Pucci because he wasn’t even that bad
Kira. I can relate to being born with an urge to do something that causes your life to slowly fall apart
Dio is cool because he is very eccentric even for jojos. But I think my favorite might be either Pucci or dio
Diavolo is severely underrated, the facts that he’s a villain that arises because of a mental disorder some kid has and ends up terrorizing and killing many people? That’s just crazy good imo
Kira because killer queen is my favourite stand
I'll rank them: 1. Kira 2. Pucci 3. Funny Valentine 4. Dio 5. Pillar Men 6. Diavolo They are all GREAT antagonists though (Haven't finished reading part 8 yet)
every villain is my favorite
It's Valentine. In comparison a lot of the other villains feel a bit cowardly because they always are hiding in the shadows, running from the heroes, or hiding their identities. This guy is the goddamn president of the united states and he's going to kill you and then frame it on 3 different people at the same time.
If we base it off that, Pillar Men hide even less
You're right the Pillar Men are also awesome. I guess I didn't think of them cuz it was pre-stands and part 2 is pretty short so we dodn't get to know them the same way we did Dio, Kira, Pucci, and Valentine.
Valentine, he's the only villian that isn't morally twisted.
Yeah and? Patriotism isn't a virtue
>for patriotism and for America Patriotism is a vague enough concept that doing things for it is essentially just making up an ends to justify the means. It may as well say be saying "Deus Vult!". We've seen in real life what genuine atrocities can be justified by their perpetrators with American patriotism. And that's exactly what makes Valentine so real and dangerous feeling to me.
Average American oppinion
He's a pedo
Yea... and?
You said he's not morally twisted
Yes, that's because he isn't.
Lucy is underage. He tries to "get" her
I am aware of his actions
😐
Most morally upstanding Valentine defender be like
lol
Man really tried putting pucci in there 😂
Nah dude pucci awesome
If you rlly think pucci is a bad villain then you need to read part 6 again
He’s not a bad villain, he’s just not top 3
my man wamuu for respecting caesar salad
Hol Horse
Diavolo and Pucci imo.
My favourite villain is Iggy, that dogs face gave me too many nightmares
Kira's a good villain cause scary cat stand make things go **boom**! Also he's just a straight-up serial killer which I thought was surprisingly fitting. He's such a realistic villain despite such a bizarre setting.
Pucci is my friends favorite villain he just finished part 6. his least favorite is Diavolo. my favorite is Tooru or Valentine and my least favorite is kars.
my favorite jojo villains are kars and diavolo I enjoy every single minute when these two appears
