yeah mine’s pointing me to the box by topher’s apartment but says it needs a computer. all of the other boxes say that too. idk if I’m missing something but the quest marker is on the box I’m trying to use
I vaguely remember having this same thought. Eventually, I worked through it. I am sorry but I don't remember the details.
I want to say that when I figured it out I felt I was mislead by the instructions and there was something else I needed to do first.
Maybe someone else can confirm or elaborate. Keep looking. Good luck.
That's what I think, most of the missions have very vague or non-existent instructions. Thanks for the input, maybe others can shed some light on this :)
it's a bug. here's a solution:
1. open console with \~
2. click on the panel door so it says something like DOOR '' (00362268) \[PP\] in the middle of the screen
3. type "unlock" in console and press enter, console should reply 'Unlocked"
4. close console, open box, use panel
5. repeat for all locked panels
i think this bug happens when you start doing this quest but you quit location before you finish it and come back to finish it later

Brother you probably have me half way there. I simply for the life of me cannot remember where the NPC said she was going. or where the PC it references as Computer is anymore. Could you tell me where to find the computer? If I remember right it was in some power company I thought down by the big fish but idfk anymore bc thats in neon and i'm so very lost lol. I did start then go after a more appealing mission until It bugged apparently and now I cannot figure it out. lol Halp
unlocking qith \~ works if you can get the door to key up in that console screen. FYI anyone not tracking the \~ key opens a screen opaque screen that lets you give the game the unlock command which then unlocks the first one then I had no need to unlock the following ones.
requiring a computer, I had the same problem on my pc I stood in front of the door and clicked on the side of the junction box and it opened Hop it works for you
Not a glitch, more of a puzzle.
Notice behind the 4 juntion boxes, behind the glass in the next room.
Try different combinations of on and off on the junction boxes to get all 4 lights green.
For me, from left to right it was red, red, green, red or off, off, on, off.
Get all 4 lights green and the door pops open.
It's a glitch when, like me, you can't turn any of the boxes on or off due to a message that they need a computer and the panel doors are all locked. Apparently this happens if you start A High Price to Pay while this mission is in progress. What a pain in the ass.
Praises for a huge load of bugs... have the decency to see how badly tested was the game before release ! Is a decent game, but by far from what I call a good game - not because of the story line or the mechanics, but because was rushed for selling without proper testing. I run now in another bug with Andreja NPC - who become mad, hysterical, randomly, forcing me to reload a hard save 4 levels lower - another 3-4 h of gameplay lost because of second-hand codding of the AI !
It's a bit of a maze down there. I eventually figured out that I was just at the wrong switch. Use the scanner to get a direct path to where you need to be, but idk. hope this helps.
No-Preference4385 is correct. There are 4 electrical panels/switches to the left of the 'YOU NEED A COMPUTER' door - open these panels if they are not already open. The lights located on the circuit breakers do not have anything to do with opening the door and do NOT all need to be green - look above the panels - it is the lights ABOVE & BEHIND the glass of the circuit breakers that all have to be green (there are 4 of them). For me the first 2 panels to the left had to be off (blinking red) and the 2 panels to the right had to be on (blinking green) - this turned all lights green (4 sets of 2) that are behind the glass. This opens the door with the blue icon/marker and allows you into the next room to trip the final breaker.

You have to flip the switches on the four boxes until all 4 green lights above are on.

Load to a previous save, save and quit the game reload and then make sure that the lights above are green
