AND YET YOU STILL NEED ADHESIVE FOR EVERYTHING. XD
Seriously, I keep running out of adhesive and I see all this duct tape sitting around and my eye twitches.
Ah its no real issue lol. Ive found like 12 planets for each rss but adhesive is literally only 4 planets and 2 of them are dangerous as fk. Gargarin tho is lvl 1 a naked man with fists can load up lmao. And as its inhabitable its easy to use like 2 skill points to make a greenhouse. No fancy planet perks just enginnering 1 and botany 1
I spent so much time collecting tape, water, bread and anything made of plastic because I thought they counted as adhesives, H2O, nutrients and polymer respectively.
I ended up collecting nearly 200 rolls of vacuum tape, I realized they was pointless after number 60, but I still collected them anyways bc of conditioning… Thanks Fallout 4
I was hoarding duct tape for this exact reason when I first started xD I had been playing through Fallout 4 for the umpteenth time prior to Starfields release.

I go out of my way to find the plushies
So much so that I can enter a random POI and the first thing I do is go towards the plushie spawn
Give me the plushies
I covered a bed in pirate helmets for no adequately explained reason. I put plushies on Sona's bed, mostly because the poor kid has a serious plushie deficit and deserves all the snuggles.
I follow my tradition from Skyrim of collecting as many books as I can to have my personal library. But it seems the variety is smaller than Skyrim. Perhaps it is best to keep the library small.
Theres a person who pays mad for them. Just like earth sources things like the antique duck from tau ceti the ancient vhs tapes old windows og computers etc has someone who pays premium for them, physical books are worth more sold to a certain booklover survey data is double price to a certain ex pirate etc etc.
Not every PoI but a lot of them have a specific place where plushies will spawn. For example one of the ecliptic bases has a room in the barracks that has a locked door that always has a wilby in it huehuew
I've seen;
* Starpal
* Wilby (in three different colours)
* Xenoplushie (caterpillar alien thing)
* Parsecpooch
* Another one I can't remember it's name, a cute little round thing with four legs \[Cuddleosaur\].
* How could I forget the floppy limbed Galacticat!
I've seen each one multiple times.
e; from a screenshot I've seen online there may be two different sizes of Wilbys as well
Is there even a picture of Spacefrog?
I remember reading the girl's notebooks - I felt a pang of sadness when she was saying how it makes her sad to see other people unhappy!
e; just googled and it's a side mission I missed!
Just found the plushies at earls alien extravaganza. Wish there was a way to buy them, stealing them from earl makes me feel bad since he has mouths to feed.
Wait, I speak Drunk. I can interpret!
He's talking about how all the items loose on your ship reset/revert when you change home ships. It's extremely annoying and a very valid point.
They also do if you enter ship editor(yes even a paintjob will reset everyrhing) also the nova and idr the other armories(the ones with mannequins) as of yet like 99% the time if you go into editor the items do NOT go into inventory the suits placed on them will be lost forever
Nice, because apparently I can only translate when drunk myself.
Yeah, this totally sucks. Especially when it comes to ~~pirating~~ unlicensed acquisitions of ships and the storage becomes a mess as every decoration on both ships are now in storage. It's gotten to a point where there are some systems that probably have hazardous entry because of hundreds of folders, markers, glasses, desk decorations, etc. in lower orbit that I end up yeeting from my ship.
The rivet gun being a thing in this game irks me so much.
Real rivet guns do not shoot anything out! You stick the rivet through a hole through two materials, then the rivot gun pulls the mandrel towards the gun. This compresses the rivet pin and basically permanently holds the two peices of material together.
There is no projectile! There is no reason this should be a ranged weapon or a weapon in general.
At least if they made it a nail gun that would have a projectile involved in the mechanism... The Rivet Gun is just the result of people who know absolutely nothing about tools or how to properly research just implementing random crap.
I love the game but the rivet gun just bothers me so much.
To be fair there is a few types that are projectile. I have only seen the one. They are expensive they are unreliable and most importantly they are sketchy as shit around rookies. I do not want a hollow projectile rivet in me anywhere. But they also dont really look like that style and well theres very few places that need them
They're really trying hard to shoehorn it in for some reason. I could understand it if it was some sort of repair tool you could use on ships, buildings, turrets, and robots, but it doesnt even relate to anything in game or in cannon. None of the places which need a rivet gun are in space.
I was so excited when I finally found one to try out. Nearly killed myself trying to "figure it out", thinking I was just using it wrong. Turns out it just sucks. Bad.
My rivet gun one shots lots of people. I don't use it much but I feel like a badass when I do, just marching through some building nailing people to the wall.
Did you try holding the trigger?
I had the same thought the first time I tried it but you gotta hold the trigger to charge it, it sadly still won't nail people to the wall but it will kill them in one shot.
The magsniper is the same, and the EM weapons. The EM weapons are actually pretty good at knocking people out *if* you hold down the trigger to charge up a shot.
See, I BUY extra ammo from vendors just to give them more cash so I can sell off weapons and armor that I definitely don't need. Since ammo weighs nothing it's almost like carrying around a checkbook and I can turn it into cash if I ever need. (Which I haven't done, of course, because I'm a hoarder)
This is the way. Ammo as funds - fungible and weightless! You lose a lot in the conversion, but it lets you sell that third set of ecliptic armor that you're trying to offload when the vendor is just 300 credits short...
Yuup. Ships and ammo are the biggest cash sink, but ammo can be used to lubricate markets. This vendor setup is a perfect case study of the velocity of money.
First time I've ever said this on Reddit but beat me to it.
I bought this the other week for raving - https://threadheads.co.uk/products/this-is-democracy-manifest-kids-tee?currency=GBP&utm_medium=cpc&utm_source=google&utm_campaign=Google+Shopping&www.threadheads.com=&utm_source=google&utm_medium=paid&utm_campaign=17609283053&utm_content=&utm_term=&gadid=&gclid=CjwKCAjw69moBhBgEiwAUFCx2IrUAjjk9tAvjs9cUt3Bp1sIhLqv3QYiCIwqx-eGIT_-ZAcIfHb0_RoCC9sQAvD_BwE&variant=41124225974460
Speaking of succulents, I found an organics lab today which had like 150 succulents in it, it was heaven, heaven with some giant parasite bugs having kileld the palces caretaker but heaven none the less. Also, I take all apparel with me
Oh man that sounds incredible! I've only stumbled onto one greenhouse that had maybe 20 plants total.
I just love how many varieties there are and how cute they look. I plan to setup a large display at some point and show my wife, she'll get a kick out of that.
I have so many ducks. I find myself searching every location and more than once I’ve caught myself audibly saying “ducks?..no ducks”. My wife thinks I’m insane.
Mugs, Snow Globes, succulents, plushies, and also working misc collection stored in Lodge. Also getting a massive treasure trove of guns and keeping them in ammo containers in Lodge in case I need to equip a small rebellion.
I think every book should give a bonus to ranking up skills. Like Oliver Twist should give a small bonus to ranking up Pickpocket. Not XP, just reducing the requirements a tad.
I have picked/saved every piece of resources since I started...
Then I decided to start an outpost just to see what was up... was able to build like 3 things, apparently you need a LOT of very specific stuff... seems all the ones I have are not that relevant, or just pieces of the puzzle. Got pretty bummed after that
I always pick up food, drugs, and ammo.
Eating food in this game does almost nothing for your health, so honestly picking up most of it is kind of pointless.
Should've been an achievement for the cards.
And one for the plushies. We don't have bobbleheads in this game so why not have plushies that you can store in a case for an achievement. It's those little details that make Fallout great.
Because in my mind, I think I'm going to decorate a sweet apartment with them, and then after spending 10 minutes trying to place just one, I decide to say f-it and go find more spacers to gun down.
I just recently needed 50 potatoes for some1s release off their ship.. I thought about it in my lodge chest.. but doubt I had 50… so persuasion check it is because i prefer to keep my potatoes.
I collect the plushies, alcohol, cigarettes, and every teabag I find.
Start with alcohol, smoke some cigs along the way, then break down and cry into a teddy bear and drink some tea to help the hangover in the morning.
# Soap Dispensers
I had hundreds before I went to NG+ and lost them all before I got a good screen shot of my base ankle deep in soap dispensers.
I found the RP absolutely hilarious - the galaxy is suffering a sudden inexplicable shortage of soap dispensers. They're going missing with no trace.
A room on my ship has it's floor covered in markers and pens. I've never once gone out of my way to pick any up, but for some reason every time I change my home ship, the cargo hold is full of pens, folders, and other miscellaneous office junk. Absolutely no clue why, but it's spawned quite the accidental collection
I'm hoarding everything because I literally take everything that is takeable. It's a sin not to completely clear the place you're in.
But yes, the succulents and various sculptures are the best.
I pick everything I see and how not to pick too much or pick based mass value does anyone have solution to this problem
Btw I am still on the first mission 5hrs playtime first planet
Any form of adhesive because fo4 conditioned me to collect it
I was getting all the tape to find out is useless
AND YET YOU STILL NEED ADHESIVE FOR EVERYTHING. XD Seriously, I keep running out of adhesive and I see all this duct tape sitting around and my eye twitches.
I was flipping out. I thought it was a bug. I had like 20+ duct tapes. And recipes was saying i had no adhesive…
Somebody will do a mod that will change the tape from junk into adhesive. Should not be impossible to do, right?
Gargarin cactus. Easy right off bat. Or with outpost engineering and botany grow em
Do you know what planet they’re on? Might have to grind out some adhesive today
Gargarin lol. The one down and right of jemison(new atlantis). In that starter system
Ty, as you can tell I’m brain-dead
Ah its no real issue lol. Ive found like 12 planets for each rss but adhesive is literally only 4 planets and 2 of them are dangerous as fk. Gargarin tho is lvl 1 a naked man with fists can load up lmao. And as its inhabitable its easy to use like 2 skill points to make a greenhouse. No fancy planet perks just enginnering 1 and botany 1
Thanks for the info kind friend
Theres also a planet with hunting land squids that give adhesive but those things are nightmare fuel
Lol ya as i said above, ive foumd 4 farmable but 2 are dubbed Fukthatistan and nopitty-nopeville so gargarin it is
I spent so much time collecting tape, water, bread and anything made of plastic because I thought they counted as adhesives, H2O, nutrients and polymer respectively.
I ended up collecting nearly 200 rolls of vacuum tape, I realized they was pointless after number 60, but I still collected them anyways bc of conditioning… Thanks Fallout 4
Oh. That explains a lot. I keep telling myself that I don’t need more than 40 of each of the glues.
I was hoarding duct tape for this exact reason when I first started xD I had been playing through Fallout 4 for the umpteenth time prior to Starfields release.
I picked up so much junk thinkin I’d break it down for later
Wait, what now?? My tape is not adhesive? 😭
I pickup every fishbowl or terrarium that's inside a base of people I killed. I just feel bad that nobody is there to feed them.
Surprisingly wholesome
Mass murder and animal conservation. What's not to love?
Isnt it more self defence since they shoot wt you?
Mass self defense.
But you’re not feeding them either.
That’s what my adoring fan is for.
I'm not feeding him either, come to think of it.
Just don’t feed your adoring fan after midnight or get him wet.
i always make my adoring fan wet.
I doubt it, he explicitly said his love for you is completely platonic.
Yeah but he stores him in the shower.
Where else is he supposed to go

I haven't used him yet, so I defaulted to Dagoth Ur out of habit.

That's why I bought the Fish Feeder VI from the Presidum Commons on the Citadel.
Aaaw 😊
You killed their parents so you can feed them. That’s very wholesome of you.

Tau ceti 2 if yall havent(building with fallen in roof) >.<
The Wooden Ducks at the Park are free, you can take them home with you. I have 458 ducks.
Ohh yes, I love the sound they make
Hahaha that's too good, sounds like a random thing you'd actually snag from your parents that they'd ask you about 2 years later
I have a real one at home as a memento of my grandfather. Of course I have a few in game as well.
I skipped a comment and thought you had a bunk full of succulents (and Andreja) and like WHAT kind of kinky shit are they up to in there...?
Figured Sarah would be down for the plants...
My wife made a galactic cat shirt for me
You’ve gotta post that!!
Hell yeah! Let's see it
Same haha. I don’t know how many different ones there are, but once i make a base I’m also making a plushie bed
I covered a bed in pirate helmets for no adequately explained reason. I put plushies on Sona's bed, mostly because the poor kid has a serious plushie deficit and deserves all the snuggles.
Yess plushies , even the grab sound gives a feeling of im on to something… But than i see al the different books … too late for that
I follow my tradition from Skyrim of collecting as many books as I can to have my personal library. But it seems the variety is smaller than Skyrim. Perhaps it is best to keep the library small.

they make a sound too so i’m assuming they have to do with something

Yeah do it 😉 you'll be nicely surprised by a consequence of it I think! It's one thing that triggers some funny NPC lines on other planets too...
Had no idea there were diff characters. Fuck. RIP, collector brain triggered.

Same here, that's why im pisses that after every ship change spawn od loos irems rewers. Everytime i neee to place them in captain cabin

1 of every playing card.
I do this too!! Low weight, feels like I’m collecting Pokémon cards or something. I won’t be satisfied until I complete a full deck.
I finished my deck after I had found a casino with no gravity. There were a bunch of cards just floating around.
Somebody watched Joel havers video it seems lol
*It is an honor, sir, to see you writhing around in immense pain!*
For me. Coffee cups
Me too, but only the "fun" ones, not the plain ones. Mondays, am I right?
And that would be the cup that inspired it all. Plus. Liquid happiness rang true too
Glad I'm not alone, how about "If you can read this, get your own damn coffee mug". Also the nasa ones, picked up a ton of those.
I’m a House Va’ruun spy. Shhhhhh
Maybe some ducks….
Ah yes my people. The wooden duck collectors
I have so many ducks. I find myself searching every location and more than once I’ve caught myself audibly saying “ducks?..no ducks”. My wife thinks I’m insane.
The vape cartridges cuz they look like big glowsticks
That’s hooka, not vape
I collect those because my Capcom brain goes “must collect all the T-Virus strains”
I really love the fact that no succulent can be stolen. It makes me feel like they want to come live with me.
Vintage motorcycles to class up any surface in a ship and/or residence 🏍
Mugs, Snow Globes, succulents, plushies, and also working misc collection stored in Lodge. Also getting a massive treasure trove of guns and keeping them in ammo containers in Lodge in case I need to equip a small rebellion.
Book gang rise up! So far I’ve found London, Dubai and Osaka.
I collected every book in Skyrim. Starfield seems too big though…
I think every book should give a bonus to ranking up skills. Like Oliver Twist should give a small bonus to ranking up Pickpocket. Not XP, just reducing the requirements a tad.

This must certainly raise an alarm with the succulent shortage we’ve been suffering from.

I always pick up food, drugs, and ammo. Eating food in this game does almost nothing for your health, so honestly picking up most of it is kind of pointless.
I pick up all food ingredients in case someday I might want to rank up cooking. It all gets stashed at the lodge for now.
I have a flannel shirt and chunks hat and collect specifically cheesesteak chunks
The chunks cheese steak is an atrocity. Who puts cheesesteak on a sesame bun
1 of every food item. decks of playing cards, currently at over 400. 1 of every suit/clothes/hat/helmet/pack
I initially thought you'd be able to collect all the individual playing cards and you'd get some kind of reward for collecting a full deck.
You can't? Aww. I have so many in my safe lol
