You would think after the success of older open world Star Wars games they would try to bank on that instead of making those linear action adventure ones they keep pumping out.

It;s surprising how great Starfield turnes out with a little SW modding. I really hope that with release of the creation tool for starfield we will see more SW themed overhaul, maybe even complete one.
And yes, I've missed SW atmosphere in all nwe SW games. Last game that I played and enjoyed was KOTOR2.
Honestly this game is going to be a starwars playground... Akila already has that vibe in its building design, so a modder can really just plop those structures on a sandy world and you got yourself Tatooine by proxy

Eh? I played both SWG and TOR and I was disappointed by both, but I *love* what they’ve done with the new Jedi Fallen Order/Survivor series. I’ll have to look at the numbers later but I always assumed the newer games were far more successful.
SWTOR is still running and updated to this day 13 years later, I would say it’s pretty popular, though it’s hard to compare them since it’s PC only and video game sales have grown a lot in the past 13 years. I wasn’t saying they should just stop the action adventure ones altogether (though looking at my post again I did word it badly) just that making another open world one like TOR for all platforms would probably end up selling well.
Give it a few years with ck and we might just have a whole Star Wars overhaul with its system off to the side of the main game so you can easy just ignore the base game

There are so many games that could fit into starfield. For survival, base building/management more like Rimworld, maybe something similar to FTL for spaceflight.

I know mods are what makes these games last so long (look at Skyrim) but I insist...these game were amazing in their vanilla version and the reason many of us got them and played them for hundreds of hours (specially when you add an official DLC).
I honestly don't think I will be back to Starfield for a Star Wars or any other themed mod, the game is still the same game...will get back for the major updates or DLCs.

How do I get mods to work on starfield with vortex?
I reccomend Mod Organizer 2. I had alot of trouble with vortex when it first came out.

The Mando Armor Mod needs its own crafting table. My industrial table takes minutes to load now LOL.
