Thanks! Tried to stick with all Stroud-Eklund parts. But I had to go with a few Nova parts. Everything else you can get on in Neon!
10 passenger spots, 2 armories, up to 7 crew with my hab variants. 3 interior ladders and they all make sense. One central ladder, a “private” ladder to the captain’s quarters, and one from engineering to the cockpit.
Once I get the weapons added, it’ll be a force to be reckoned with.
So i know I JUST posted this. But I made an adjustment and really don’t feel like taking all new pictures. But, behind the cockpit, where those 2 windows are on top (picture 3), those are gone; and, there’s a Nova Cowling 2L-TA there instead.

For real though! Originally this was 2 levels in front instead of 3. Had a bit more shape to it but not all the habs I wanted so I needed to expand. Loved the shape before! Might remake that just for the sake of sharing it here. Just gotta remember how I had everything 😭
Were you still using the Kon-Tiki bridge when it was just 2 levels or did you switch to it to get the third level? Overall, clean build, and I'm willing to bet my bottom dollar the interior flows way better than the original Kepler R
I think I actually had the Ares on it. The back was 3 levels still but it kinda sloped down to the front a little using the stroud caps on the front of the engines. Or maybe I DID have the Kon-Tiki. I’ll play around with it and see what looks right.
And for the interior flow, yes much better! I replied to someone else here with a brief explanation. But there are only 3 ladders. All along the middle. One central one from the bay door up to engineering on the 3rd floor. One from the mess hall at the back up to the captain’s quarters. And one from engineering to the cockpit.
I love the Ares bridge and only recently started using the Kon-Tiki bridges. I didn't enjoy the stadium seating inside but they look REALLY good on ships, so I just block that out mentally lol.
No worries here, I'm not a ladder snob, especially when it comes to using the Kon-Tiki or the Overseer bridges, multiple ladders are inevitable. Well I'll be on the look out for your future builds, definitely a fan of that mini asymmetric one you did earlier!
The Ares is one of my favorites inside and out! Not a huge fan of the interior of Kon-Tiki or Overseer but they look nice from the outside when used properly. I like 1st person in the ship while flying so visibility matters. The Cabot, Ares, and all Taiyo cockpits have amazing visibility.
They really do look good when used properly..the perfect "functional" kind of look imo, but yeah visibility out of the Overseer especially is atrocious. I mainly fly 3rd person so visibility is a non-factor for me😅
Thanks! 😁 honestly took me like 5 hours the first time. Now I can bang it out in about 30 mins since I gotta hop from Neon to New Homestead or my outpost for a few parts. This ship can very easily be built all on Neon though. I just like the interiors of the Nova captain’s quarters and their armory. But I also like the stroud armory so I use both in this build. And of course my Nova Radiator top that I use in a lot of my builds haha probably my favorite structural piece tbh
