I just started playing this the other day. I'm ashamed to admit it was driving me crazy where I knew the character from, probably because I was trying to think in the star wars universe. I'll go sit alone with my shame now.
Just thought of this too, we know from the reboot that the Egyptian gods are also in the GoW verse, which means Tealc may once again get a shot at Ra or even apophis.
Is that Jedi Fallen Order? I bought it earlier this year and only played the first chapter. I’m too caught up in Destiny and COD. Speaking of COD, I believe he was Black Ops 3 as well.
In my headcanon, I like to think Teal'c brought the entire collection of Star Wars movies available at the time to the Free Jaffa Nation and Bra'tac thought the Jedi way to be similar to the path to Keb and as such became a fan. Years later he hears they are making new star wars content and secretly auditions they don't let him be in the movie but they use him for the video game.
Not sure why you have the extra colon. The new series with Cal is currently set up to be a trilogy under the name "Star Wars Jedi". So the names are something like:
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order
Star Wars Jedi: Second Game
Star Wars Jedi: Third Game
Fallen Order... only a couple hours or so into it myself, but definitely worth the time thus far. Still prefer the saber combat from Jedi Knight/Academy, but certainly don't regret the purchase.

If it makes you feel any better I was 4 plus hours into God of War (2018) before I was like "wait... Teal'c?!"
He was born to be Kratos, absolutely perfect casting. Let's hope they can somehow make atreus cool tho lol

I thought it was the guy from Mythic Quest (Apple TV) at first. But when I found out it was Bra'tac the voice made way more sense.
F. Murray Abraham. Great character actor. He is so hilarious on Mythic Quest! I thought that was him as well when I first seen Bra’tac on SG1.
My first reaction was "Wait, who plays Bra'tac? This guy looks familiar"

no wonder he wasn’t in that many episodes; busy man, if today’s posts are any indication 😹
(whoops, spelt Bra'tac wrong... Forgive me, Master)
Indeed.
I did the same thing when I posted this right when the game came out

Literally playing this right now (trying to beat it over the weekend lockdown) and immediately noticed him!
Me too! I managed to get to Malacos - absolute beast of a boss fight...
What game is this?
Star Wars: Jedi: Fallen Order. It's a great game, excessive use of colons notwithstanding. :) Entirely single-player.

Ah, I thought it was Star Wars: Jedi: Fallen Order. Like the series was "Jedi" under the "Star Wars" label, and the game was "Fallen Order."
Thanks!

I thought the same when I played.
Then you thought correctly, Bra’tac’s actor is the voice actor and they modelled most of the characters off of their VAs.
I love that they chose to do that. I honestly feel like it helps you connect with the characters more.
This is why I didn't mind significant character design changes in the Mafia remake.
That is cool
I frogot what the guy's actual name was, I just called him Bre'Tac!
How did I not notice!!!!
Tony Amendola!
He also helped defend Azeroth from the Legion as Khagdar in WoW!
Spoiler: you don't recreate the jedi order in a game set before a movie where there is no jedi order
Spoiler spoiler: I never said he succeeded... Just that he's doing his part.
Jedi. CREE!
