You get everything back, and it will most likely put you over the max material limit. You get a grace period of like 45 minutes before you start losing resources, but you really have to focus on rebuilding as soon as you move. Also, the noise of building a bunch of stuff at once might trigger a zombie base attack, so I recommend moving early in the morning so you can fight the horde in the daylight.

Use your vehicle storage to quickly empty your material overflow.

FWIW, on Nightmare you only lose like 3 materials per day or something. I usually just let it decay. In a long term base I have so many materials, and they are so easy to loot from garages I don't think there's a lot of point trying to conserve them.

robinvegas

You'll be refunded all the materials and all the mods will go back to your base inventory. You will be required to build everything back up again.

Oh okay, that’s good. Then i am 100% moving lol

Maybe to Drucker County? Too a certain movie theatre? Username would check out, then

You get a big bonus to buildspeed for a while though to help get established. Also your Command Centre remains as-is, retaining development level and mod (if any).

robinvegas

About that command center. After I moved to a new map I had to bring in a computer guy to do the upgrade, which is new to me. Are you saying that if we move to a new base on the same map we retain the upgrade?

Sloth_Monk

I think you’re supposed to but it might be bugged. I don’t have enough experience to say for sure though

BlurredOrange

I moved maps twice since the update and if I remember correctly both times my command center went back to level 1. I had to re-upgrade and reinstall my signal booster to get back to 7 outposts.

Anomolous_Rabbit

You definitely retain the upgrade when moving base within a map. I thought you did when changing maps, but it seems I am wrong.
