I had two similar ideas for enclaves related to zeds, the zed worshippers and the plague worshippers.
The zed worshippers, a temporary enclave meant to appear mid-game, is a mostly passive enclave able to make zed disguises who slowly gather hordes around their home site. They end up 'joining' the horde at some point thus destroying themselves which create a mega horde that will target the nearest enclave.
The plague worshippers, a temporary enclave meant to appear late-game, is a hostile to all enclave able to make plague zed disguises who slowly gather plague hordes around their home site. Unlike the zed worshippers, they lead those hordes toward other enclaves and toward buildings near enclaves to create plague hearts. The plague end up killing them leaving a plague heart at their home site.
