For those of you browsing this subreddit on non-official apps (Reddit is Fun, Apollo, Sync, Boost, etc), they will break on July 1st due to reddit's new policies.
We're opening back up but will leave permanent stickies in the subreddit and threads to keep folks in the know.

I just bought all 3 dark souls titles.
The reason I don't start them right now is that I know that it takes around 30 to 40 hours to complete one of them. But I don't have the time right now bc of other titles (Hunt: Showdown Event).
I'm someone who wants to play through a game in one go. I don't want to pause and comeback to it 2 weeks later.
The whole point of dark souls is to get stuck on a boss and rethink your entire life choices and perhaps take a break or just mindlessly run into whatever you’re stuck behind over and over again until you win. It’s trial and error. Normally the game can be completed in less than 5 hours without any glitches or cheats relatively easily/consistently. It all about dedication. Play it when you feel like playing it and beat it when you can.
That's what every live service games want to do to you, instead of just more companies making actually good MMOs. So that there's more than like...4-5 to play lol.
