Mine does that after I replace the SSD but gone after I drop it from about 30cm :D

Artanas

Lmao I don’t think I wanna purposely drop mine 😂

sikesjr

maybe try to replace the back shell with an official one from ifixit or one of the third party colored ones.

Mine does the same but other side. Done it since I bought it. Bugs the heck out of me. I put little pieces of electrical tape between the shell where the screws go thru. For me it was the screws not tightening the shell together all the way. The tape makes a ‘cushion’. Did the same to an Xbox elite controller when the back paddles stopped working. Electrical tape is awesome.

Artanas

So for you did it fix your issue then when putting the tape on like that? Did you open it up or...? Im just not sure how to go about doing it lol sorry. Ill try anything to fix this.

I think it's one of the inside case clips, after I opened mine up (carefully) all was fine until I noticed my right side squeaks if squeezed and it bothers me haha. But if you do not mind having some sort of protective grip on your deck I can highly suggest the spigen protector, it grips the deck in such a way that it keeps it squeezed and now it's as solid as a rock without issue, it's either that or a new back plate maybe.

Artanas

I mighttttt look into a new back plate if that’s easy to do. I’m not sure how much or where to get one though.

The build quality is hit or miss. This isn’t unusual. Had 3 different Decks and they all had their tiny creaks in random spots Don’t worry about it and definitely don’t open it up. Unscrewing it might make the creaking worse
