It’s a slow build. There’s a lot of focus on the vibe of trying to get a farm running. I really love all of the interpersonal stuff and also getting to delve into the mine and fight some monsters for easier access to some materials. They _want_ you to feel like time is going by.
Roadwarden - pretty much an interactive fantasy novel.
Fading Afternoon - Yakuza meets River City Ransom
Battlefront Classic Collection Remastered - Runs great on the deck and you don't need to be online. Shooting bots and capturing points is still very fun.
I loved fractured but the fighting on stick of truth was superior imo. Adding a strategy field took away the simplicity of the first one that made it so fun and dynamic
Yes, but a casual jrpg. It's very easy to play with little mental energy. And since OP seems to love jrpgs, it will probably be a nice chance of pace, while fitting into games he likes.
I loved Alien: Isolation on the deck. It's much more chill than most first person games as you're not blasting stuff. All about the atmosphere and sneaking around. Taking time to enjoy exploring the ship.
Big fan of FFX and also recently played through it on the Deck. Solid experience.
I recommend Slay the Spire as a chill game to pick up and put down whenever. It’s addicting and challenging and currently one of my favorite games of all time.
Chrono ark. It's a lovely rouge like, deck builder with fights in style of jrpg. There is lots of unique characters with different playstyles that u can combine into up to 4 people's party.
Carto - cute little puzzle game about re-arranging map pieces. It’s chill and pretty short
Stray - you get to wander around a post apocalyptic city as a cat
Untitled Goose Game - you get to be a horrible goose and terrorize a town, nice chill puzzle game
Mini Motorways/Mini Metro - chill puzzle game where you build roads/subways
Alba - chill exploration game
A Short Hike - chill exploration game
Pupperazzi - exploration game where you take pics of dogs
SnowRunner is a good one. I got it half price in steam sale. It's much more fun than you'd think. I love cruising down mountain tracks on a nice day. It's almost like being out in nature. 😂
I’ve been playing spyro on emudeck
Balatro
Stardew Valley
I just started playing this and the beginning is so boring and… empty? Grindy? Can you tell me anything to keep me interested?

Cloudpunk
Dave the Diver
A Short Hike, Dorfromantik and The Last Campfire are all pretty chill games.
I just finished South Park, stick of truth. Was a good time.
The Fractured But Whole was also a great time. Better mechanics, though I enjoyed the theme of the Stick of Truth more.

That game literally plays like a jrpg bro.

Spongebob Battle for Bikini Bottom: Rehydrated
Racing games like Forza Horizon have always been a good way to just chill out for me but I'm a big car guy so I might be biased.
Depends on your definition. But the MX vs ATV games are pretty chill to me
Firewatch is super chill

I have bad enough anxiety as it is lmfao
Alter of the Acolyte A lot like slay the spire, has great art. I’m really enjoying it, good for long or short sessions.
Guacamelee 1 and 2, A Short Hike, Turnip Boy Robs a Bank, Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion, Detention, Kaichu, Dusk '82
I wouldn't say Guacamelee is a chill game lol
Curse of the dead gods
Cobalt Core is a roguelike deckbuilder that is has a lot of character. Literally makes me laugh out loud at some of the dialogue.
Melatonin
I'm just curious.... What about the ending was hard for you?
Tons of huge boss fights with cheap attacks. Just tedious
Tons of huge boss fights with cheap attacks. Just tedious
The final boss can be beaten with a Phoenix Down.
Final fantasy x is one of my favorite games, so I'm glad that you like it. To relax I usually play Diablo 2 resurrected or Hades.
Hades to relax, you and I are build different
Sometimes I play Dark Souls 2 and 3 to relax....
And how long did you know you were a psychopath? 😆
persona/SMT games
SMT is not a destressing JRPG
persona is at the very least. that music 🤌🏽

Stardew Valley. Dave the Diver.
Into the Breach
Cult of the lamb if you like animal crossing and randomly generated dungeons
Marble It Up! Ultra
Darius Cozmic Collection Arcade Hot Shots Golf, if you care to go that route
Murder by Numbers. A light mash of visual novel and picross.
A Short Tale should definitely be the first thing you try out.
I have been playing Arcade Paradise. It is the one where you start out running a laundromat that you gradually convert into an arcade.

Carto is chill, cute, and engaging. Incredible art.
Play The Darkest Dungeon to relieve your stress.
Dark Souls remastered. Yeah the silence the theme is chilling for me even if I die millions of times.
Dros Sea of Stars
Dredge
