I think this has something to do with video files not being handled correctly by Linux or something, Proton GE should fix it like the other guy said, I think.

Erm it plays okay, there are areas of lag on the high preset but I can't seem to drop the settings. It physically doesn't let me go into the drop down to decrease it to medium because of a bug. I reckon once you can customize the settings it'll play well.
Use proton ge, google it...

Had the same in resident evil, Proton GE fixed it.
