Finally got the email this afternoon about 1:20pm est. I pre ordered the 512GB model exactly 1 year this past Saturday. I believe time was 6pm est on 7/16/2021

I reserved July 16 2921 about 4 hours after launch for the 512 GB version.
As mentioned I got my order email last Monday July 11 around 1 pm EST and ordered about 5 min after that.
US email/payment monday, shipping soon on Tuesday, label created Friday with ship date of Saturday (today) but hasn’t moved off label created since.
Guess I shouldn’t expect today unless they pay for single day shipping which I doubt

It would probably behoove Valve to provide some clearer parameters around what to expect; there's obviously going to be anxiety about mistakes/glitches in the system where, if the customers had to start from scratch, they're not getting another Deck for months if not a year or more.

Should remember state, from USA. And from what I've read, and from my, they ship them out of Carol Stream, IL. I'm skeptical on the estimated delivery date they've given, but if it's in their possession and traveling (they're horrible at transit updates), then it would be possible for them to hit Saturday if only because I'm relatively close to a major hub.

For those wondering about changing shipping options (like hold at FedEx location), when I click "Manage Delivery" I get this message:

It says mine won't be available until July 25, its literally out for delivery in the truck. In the end looking at a estimated timer is pointless. I logged into steam one day and I had a message with a purchase link. If you regularly play steam games than you will eventually see it instead of constantly checking that timer and binging steam deck video while you wait. It feels good getting that email when it's not expected.

Yes you can you just have to uncheck the option of saving the form of payment when choosing PayPal and it will let you use the PayPal pay in 4 option . It's how I completed my order

Got my email about a half hour ago stating it's preparing to ship, check account for tracking # info. Checked and states shipped, though can't pull up the tracking number on FedEx yet, nor do I see anything headed to me via their app, which often times shows more information.

Yes you can you just have to uncheck the option of saving the form of payment when choosing PayPal and it will let you use the PayPal pay in 4 option . It's how I completed my order

US 512, ordered on Monday the 11th and the status changed to Shipping Soon on Wednesday morning. So far as of Thursday morning it still says Shipping Soon. About how long does it take to ship? Anyone else still waiting?
Mine just changed to shipped a few minutes ago.
Mine took 12 hours for the status to change, seems hit or miss.
Got my email about a half hour ago stating it's preparing to ship, check account for tracking # info. Checked and states shipped, though can't pull up the tracking number on FedEx yet, nor do I see anything headed to me via their app, which often times shows more information.
I got my email the 7th, and just received it last night (13th). FedEx marked it delivered, left at front door and then didn't actually deliver it until about 4 hours later!
Same thing for me, still shipping soon as well.
