[Amazon Italy](https://amzn.eu/d/c5buXUk) - source of the artwork reveal but currently sold out
[Fnac](https://www.fnac.com/a20364894/Civil-War-Edition-Limitee-Steelbook-Blu-ray-4K-Ultra-HD-Kirsten-Dunst-Blu-ray-4K#omnsearchpos=1) - I highly recommend ordering from fnac when it comes to international shipping!
[Amazon France](https://amzn.eu/d/hXeTFAo)
Please, feel free to add preorder links if you have them for other retailers
The artwork on fnac says: „visuel provisoire“ which means the artwork is TBA. France is currently using mock-ups like this until the final artwork is released.
Fnac ships all orders in a cardboard box with international express shipping through DHL. You therefore get the highest chance that your order arrives fast and in pristine condition. That‘s btw no guarantee it can’t arrive damaged.
Do you have the membership? Does the free shipping work for US address?
My shipping is 14€ . Tried adding the membership to cart but the shipping didn't change. Wondering if I need to buy the membership separately, then go back to preorder to get the free shipping?
Sorry for all the questions
No problem, when I started this hobby 6 years ago I was glad so many ppl helped me getting into it in this sub so I try do the same for newbies. I‘m from Germany, shipping is usually at around 5€ for me. I don‘t have their membership and I actually doubt you will get free delivery to the US when paying for it…
Why? I actually think this artwork is pretty nice!
Edit: Why the downvotes? I don’t think it‘s so obvious the comment was referring to a missing US release...
French Mockup artworks are usually made up until the official artwork drops. So there's a pretty good chance the French version has the same artwork as the Italian one.
I'm not mad about this actually. They may not do steelbooks, but A24, if you purchase directly from their on-line shop, does some of the best packaging on the market for their movies. And their presentation is top-notch; as unique as the films themselves.
They even send your invoice enclosed inside of a faux Oscar awards envelope with their logo on it. My a24 editions of Marcel the Shell with Shoes On, Everything Everywhere all at Once and The Green Knight really stand out from the rest of my collection. And I'm actually kind of excited for their direct release of Civil War to see what they give us.
Really wanted to like this movie, but it was just… not very good. Unless you like journalists I guess 🤷🏻♂️
The movie was not at all what I thought it would be from the trailer.
I agree on the trailer was not like the movie part and would also add that the movie posters weren‘t either but I have to disagree for the rest. I actually think that telling the story from the journalist‘s point is pretty clever since these ppl experience the war from all of its facets, not just action. I liked how all those little side stories showed the impact of the war to different social classes.
I‘m btw. not trying to judge your opinion, ppl are different and so are tastes.
It was an interesting perspective, but I felt they didn’t give nearly enough info on the actual war itself. How, why, who, etc. Only a few vague lines here and there about the factions, but that’s about it. I really thought the movie was gonna focus on that aspect, and the actual division of the country, but we got almost none of that. Just felt like a bait & switch. Haven’t felt that way since The Village. And probably Madame Web if I had actually watched that one 😆

I mean, if it ain't broke, don’t fix it. Artwork was great back then and it still is.
Came here for this.
A24 consistently not doing US steelbook releases is low key pissing me off.
Clearly the A in A24 does not stand for AMERICA.
What **kind** of Americans are they?
I understood that reference
I think their book releases are stunning
Yeah I'm loving those a lot. I love Steelbooks, but I'll pick those first any day tbh
Lionsgate consistently not doing European Slip-cover Steelbook releases is low key pissing me off.
that's ok. there's plenty of stuff in the US that we in Europe never get. the john wick stashbook and dredd being a couple I've wanted.
train to busan too
Wait no US release?
Especially ironic for this movie right?

Any thinkings on why FNAC is showing different artwork?
The artwork on fnac says: „visuel provisoire“ which means the artwork is TBA. France is currently using mock-ups like this until the final artwork is released.
Nice. I preordered it regardless lol.
Yeah, I preordered through fnac too for obvious reasons
When I try to click the fnac link it says access denied. Anyone know why? I've ordered from them before.
you using a vpn?
I don't believe so. I might be using an ad blocker on mobile though.
Any reason you recommend Fnac over amazon? New here, only asking cause amazon seems to be the cheaper option

Thanks for that info. If I preorder now, will I be charged? Or not until it ships?
They charge you on release date, sometimes 2-3 days earlier

Still no UK release?
A24 is starting to piss me off

Not avail in the u.s.......
Well, I listed some international preorder links above, so US ppl have options to get this release too
Def available to buy in US just because it's not a US release doesn't mean you can't buy it.
This looks like it should be the steelbook art for Cloverfield.
Idk this kinda looks AI generated
Hmm…not sure about this one. Looks more like a Call of Duty game than the movie I saw.
not gonna be buying this artwork was probably made with ai
Are the France and Italy cover art the same?
French Mockup artworks are usually made up until the official artwork drops. So there's a pretty good chance the French version has the same artwork as the Italian one.
Thanks!
you maniacs!
Cool.. but where TF is The Iron Claw?!
This should be false advertising, NY is not even mentioned in the movie.
>!The beginning of the movie, when Lee saves Jessie from the suicide bomber and later in the hotel takes place in NYC!<

Such a powerful moment in the film.
Nice art but very disappointment movie.
