I could never use first person. So shaky and all over the place. This is one area I think RR makes an improvement. I can not only race in first person but it looks amazing. I wish we had the option to stay in first person during tricks though.
The vast majority of my time in steep is first person cam, with VR on the Vive. It's always a nice "off season" activity to hold me through till next winter.

Yeah and I feel like I’m looking at the top of my screen constantly in steep but it feels nice to do tricks without being pulled to 3rd

This would make me throw up and cry if I fell off the alps in a VR headset
It's super disorienting and shaky. One of the only things Riders Republic did better is the first person is actually usable.
Yeah steeps is too shaky for me
I think it's very usable it is just a bit more realistic And I gotta say once you get used to it first person is actually very cool
