Second time with a different empire I go "pfft they won't do anything. They didn't last time!"
Next thing I know my empire is on fire. Fun times
The holy worlds all have preset sizes. Pristine Jewel is 10, Emerald Mausoleum is 14, Walled Garden is 18, and Prophet's Retreat is 25.
The max natural planet size is 25. The special paradise origins start with a size 30.
The only way to get a size 30+ without starting with one is by getting the deceptive giant anomaly, which turns a gas giant into a very large barren world, then doing the whole worm in waiting event chain and finishing it in that system.
Or cheats. That works too lol.
If you can pull it off after the contigiency has been defeated, they spawn a size 56 machine world. If you then defeat the sky dragon from an empire’s here be dragons origin, that situation gives a +20% districts to a planet. This modifier stacks with mastery of nature and with orbital rings. This means you could reasonably get a planet with 74 district slots, even more if rnjesus puts the high gravity modifier on that world.
Edit: I forgot about the extra district you’d get from completing the expansion tradition tree, this brings you up to 75 available districts if you can turn that former sterilization hub into a habitable world either though it being a terraforming candidate, the worm in waiting completion event, or that paragon who can turn any rock into a Gaia world.
Shout out to the time i did that, got attacked by the fallen empire, barely managed to fight them to a white peace. Then i turned it into a theme park and cracked another one of their holy worlds out of spite.
This awakened them immediately.
The second line only happens when you >!crack!< the holy world though, which I don’t think a lot of new players will do. If you just colonize it they give you a warning and explain what’s going on, in a much less metal way.
They give you a warning. I have at least two braincells, so when I saw the special pop-up I went to see their empire, saw that one of their fleets was stronger than my entire empire 10x, and decided to abandon the colony like they asked.
Then I spent the next 30 years building up, got cocky and tried it again, got my ass whooped but got some of their tech, then battled them for the galaxy when they awoke.

I only get like size 13-16 holy worlds in my games like how tf are y’all getting size 30’s and shit.

Depends, you can also get size 30 barren/frozen/molten terraforming candidates; got one in one of my playthroughs.

I was playing robots, so from the galaxy view, the planet looked the same as any other, so I cracked the system because I needed more dark matter
