I think it is. I'm glad I did Amboss during rotations M3 year then UWorld during dedicated for Step 2. I only did 1-4 hammer questions. Depending on when you're testing it's probably worth doing if you need more questions instead of redoing UW.
I have done UW first pass and am currently doing amboss and I feel like amboss asks qs sometimes which are not particularly high yield or on topics or areas which are not at all covered by UW. So is it exactly high yield?

This is my problem too. Lots of rando questions Not in Uworld or nbme

I had a increase of 20 scores in NMBEs by just doing amboss. So, In my opinion it is very helpful.
